whens he slated to come back? does he deserve to start right away even though our current starting cbs are playing well.

I was shocked to see our pass defense is 10thl eague right now. That's for sure gonna change after Sunday but it's a good sign considering we almost used all our picks on the secondary this year.

I really doubt Lowery would have had much trade value.

Golden Tate should have to sit until Lowery is cleared from IR...He's a punk and a lowlife loser... hope he blows his knee out and ends up in immesurable debt after football.   Only  $20K fine for ending someone season..... SHAME SHAME Goodell>>>

I honestly think the team just got lucky with the Thomas trade. We don't see many in-season trades anyway.

Yeah, but that was the idea of moving the trade deadline back to mid-season last year, to initiate more trades.

This was my stance last year. I was against tanking at the end bigtime.   This year ? Not so much. I see what it did for the colts and whether the QB we draft turns out to be great or not it's our best chance to pick him #1 ..  We need that # 1 pick!!!!!!

Lowery has 2 years left on his contract following this year, making just over $3 base annual salary, and $1.5m in unamortized signing bonus.  It is a friendly deal to cut him if they choose.

It just shows you it doesn't matter where you pick you QB as long as you hit and this class is deep.  Most of those 1st overall picks wasn't even the best QB in their class.  I do think Teddy will be good but I don't think he will be in that top tier list.

Looked it up  -  Lowery was tested for concussion in 2011.  Held out of practice - but played in the next game. Last year was a foot/ankle injury that held him out around 4 weeks( I think. )

 

Those kind of things are common when you put a guy with a corner's body in at safety.

We got Lowery for a 7th rounder, and he has proceeded to finish every season on IR since then. I like him a lot, but unfortunately his trade value was/is zero.

After he is cut, Lacanfora will report that the Browns would have given us a 4th rounder for him.

Bad move.  Fire Caldwell.  Injury is Gene's fault.  Should have shopped him sooner.

then ohalloran will dispute it and say browns called but 4th rounder wasnt good enough.
