What a fleece job the Ravens gave Caldwell.

The Brown's just traded Richardson (a RB playing a non premium position, who put up average numbers behind one of the the league' best offensive lines) for a 1st rounder. And we are only able to muster "multiple 3rd day picks" for a top 10 LT playing a premium position.

Lol in Caldwell I trust amirite?
Quote:2 mid round picks

cant wait to add the next pair of busts/nobodies/eventual cuts/scrubs that we draft with those

wait, you guys are right, whats the difference between that and our first round picks?

joke of a team is a joke

No one is making you remain a fan. You are free to be a bandwagon hopper that way you'll always be on the winning side
Joeckel being moved back to OLT is the good part of this deal. His ceiling is higher than Monroes was for OLT and both were not good ORT material.

I do agree with one thing KraYz said though....if this was the idea all along, it would have been smarter to deal Monroe last offseason when his value was higher.

What if the multiple picks on day 3 turns out to be a 6 and 2 7's.That would be awesome...LOL

You, sir, have just found the Message Board Logo.

Now, if we can just permanently attach that Cry Baby pic to each of Krayz's posts...

If one of them is at least a 3rd we did ok.

LOL only two? smh
Quote:Many, many fans defended the Joeckel pick citing Tony Khan/Caldwell:

"Two elite tackles are what is needed now in this league, our QB will perform better with elite bookend tackles."

Trade Monroe.

This team had its eyes set on going the cheap route the entire time. Instead of re-signing one the the leagues best LT's we draft his replacement and STILL have that same gaping hole we had at RT last year.

What a waste of a pick. Shame on those that defended it and believed the garbage that Caldwell and Tony Khan fed you.
Hahaha. It's weird that the same people, every time, can't seem to wrap their head around simple concepts.

Carry on.

You have a valid point here.

Well, we know it is for you since you just keep laughing.
How?  If we didnt draft Joeckel we would need a LT and RT come season end.  We now have our future at LT

Why not:

Maybe we take those two mid round picks put them with a late round and trade up to a 1st or eary second. knowing your knowledge of football i would rather trust the people actually making the descisions.

Your right. We should discuss. Caldwell stinks, jags stink... Oh Khan stinks... Anything else?

Yeah, clearly a difference in 4 years of age with a multiple year cheap salary of which the sighing bonus has already been paid. Perfect analogy.

We need more top end picks hopefully we can move up in the draft this year. 5th and 6th round picks can't really be depended on to build this roster
Quote:He is a new GM with a decent track record for evaluating talent. Isn't it fair to give him the benefit of the doubt? His draft picks from his first draft happen to be the only people worth talking about on this team.

What are you basing that statement on?
Nah, the #2 pick wasn't wasted.  Otherwise we'd also need an LT as well right now.  And we'd probably also be planning funeral arrangements for Blaine Gabbert.

Not a fan of this trade as reported.  At all.  But #2 wasn't a wasted pick.

It looks like its getting time for a Wells Fargo leap....
