I agree with sticking with Gabbert through 0-16. Why Not !!
ok.... i forgot about Stanzi on the bench --- I'd throw in Stanzi in a few weeks.

Stanzi is not on the bench though.

Stanzi is gone, and Captain Smith announced that we are sticking with the Titanic.

At some point this year, they'll end the Gabbert experiment, for good, and just go with Henne or even Stanzi the rest of the way.
I think this will come once there develops some distance between the Jags & other teams for the 1 overall pick - think Indy Colts in 2011 when they all of a sudden started playing great when there was a 2 game cushion between them and the next suitor for the number one pick.
....yeah, don't think that I didn't notice that, Colts franchise, you frauds!!!!
You tanked for Luck. Right move, but to act like it didn't happen (which your fans vehemently do) is folly.

Well we could bench Gabbert and start Peyton Manning. O thats right its no QB like that on the roster. Like others have said already. Help is not on the way.

Okay, so say they did, who cares?

Just sayin'....
and I think we actually should follow suit similarly for Bridge...
but at least our fans won't get in a tizzy about it when it comes up.

He wants a new job!

It's the right move to make.

What difference does it make. In all seriousness, what would it have hurt to have brought in Tebow just to see? The great Belichec did in New England. Caldwell had to be cute and say, very early, that he had no intentions in looking at Tebow. This type of close mindedness has me second guessing our GM's competency. Granted, we may not have won any more, or less, games with him but at least it would have put butts in the seats. Flame away!

I say, why not?
Since this is an actual "build" (can't rebuild what didn't exist), play the young guys.
If they improve or show that they can play, awesome.
Being mediocre leads to staying mediocre.
I'd rather be awful with a chance at great talent than having to give away players and picks for a chance to get to a high draft pick.
That's just me though...

Especially the part about how Gabby is our future. That always cracks me up!

Bellicheck only brought in Tebow as a favor to their Owner Robert Kraft who just loves Tebow. When you have Brady, you can bring in whoever you want just to watch Tom throw TD's.
Tebow sucks! Give it a rest!

We know help is not on the way, but I do not want the Jaguars to hold the mantel for worst team in NFL history, its one thing to be the laughing stock of the NFL for a few seasons but to be the worst team in NFL history that will never go away. The winless 70s Bucs and the 0-16 Lions are up there, I do not want my jaguars to be up there and we are on the way there, def if we keep that bum Gabbert as starter.
