Quote:Yes, I've seen him, but I'm a harder sell. Comes from gimmicky offense and played a garbage defense today. I know people get all giddy like a school girl when they see those video game numbers though, right??
Are you stupid? Do you see the ball placement on his deep throws Mr box score scouting.
Quote:Lets be real, Derek Carr is top 5 talent. He is not Bridgewater but he is top 5 talent.

Is he?

I'm not saying he isn't good, but top 5?

I don't think so.

Bridgewater

Clowney

Barr

Matthews

not sure he belongs next.
He MIGHT be selected in the top half of the first round.

Those numbers mean little to me. College defenses are nothing compared to NFL defenses. I like his pocket awareness, the way he went through his reads, his accuracy, the DEEP BALL MAN. THE DEEP BALL. His foot work needs to progress but I'm not too worried about that.

Yeah, and would the ball placement be that good when he has to face an actual pass rush instead of a pristine pocket all day???

Really, you calling people stupid and basing his performance off of no pressure is whats really stupid.

At least Teddy has proven that he is still very accurate even when facing pass rush and tight coverages.

Just like with Manziel, he plays behind a stud line and has literally all day to throw. When teams get pressure on him (UF 2012, LSU 2013) he looks like Gabbert. Skiddish and with no pocket presence.

He faced little pressure today, clown. I saw it.

Lol you watched one game oooooooooo. He has a terrible oline Mr box score scouting.

For teams who are looking for a qb, i.e Vikings, Texans etc

He is the best option besides Bridgewater in the draft

Sorry. I only meant to say that Johnny has a good line. I wasn't trying to speak on Carr at all.
Mariota, Manziel, Boyd come from gimmicks so they out of the running

Murray and McCarron are too physically limited to be first round qbs

Bridgewater, Carr Bortles are my top three in that order

How the hell does Boyd play in gimmick offense? He makes NFL throws several times a game. I would rank them Bridgewater, Boyd, Mariotta, Bortles, McCarron.
Hey Tmd I will bet you that Carr goes top 10 in the draft

Yeah, and today is when he put up the video game numbers, in the 1st half anyway.

Can't wait for 5 minutes to pass for the next QB you'll be pimping. At this rate, you'll have the entire NCAA draft eligible class....I guess this way you figure you can't be wrong. At one point or another, you've pretty much slobbered over all of them.

Top "10" isn't what I was protesting....

I clearly stated my objection was top "5".

My original post was top 10 if not top 5. You gonna chicken out?

Top 5 is my problem. Not going to sucker me in.

I could see some bad team desperate for a QB taking him by the 10th pick. Hope its not us. If we take him, I hope its after multiple trade downs. (and obviously with an original pick outside the top 2 as I am not trading out of Bridgewater or Clowney)

Y'all kill me with these chicken dropping forum bets. Y'all each have a paypal set up I'm sure! Lets see some cash on the line!

Doesn't have a grasp of pro style concepts

Mariota and Manziel make NFL throws but that doesn't mean they are NFL QBs
