I don't care if Oakland beats Denver by 30. We're still a bad team. It is what it is for the year. No biggie.
I'd give Stanzi some reps --it's worth a shot.
I am entitled to my opinion. And by the shape of the team and an effort to try and win games. Think Robinson gives us best chance.

Whichever options give us the best chance at the first overall pick is who I'd like to go with. This season is a wash and I finally want the top pick in a draft that likely has more top end talent than last year and a potential big time franchise QB sitting there to be taken. I want that guy.
The draft is nice and all. But can always find ways to trade back. This is the now. And some excitement and close games. Or dare I say it wins be nice. And for all those who say meaningless games. They are not meaningless to those who sit in the stands for every home game. They are home town wins memories.
Denard needs to develope into that RB/WR mix breed so next years Rookie QB will have a nice option in the short passing game and a solid option running the ball plus Denard would be a dangerous player when combined with a Dual threat QB in the whole PA/Read Option thing ala Kaepernick/Frank Gore or Cam Newton/Anyone.
I can see what the organization wants to do with Denard. Him Bridgewater,Blackmon,Shorts and Sanders could be very Dynamic.
I have to laugh at these posts saying Denard needs to learn to play RB or hone his craft at that position. If you watched him in college he was essentially a RB and would occasionally heave it downfield for a jump ball. He's not a QB in the NFL and was serviceable at best in NCAA. However, why is he not on the field more? Put him in the game in some sort of capacity. His straight line speed alone demands respect from D coordinators. Line up him and Mojo in two back sets. Put him in at slot. If the season is shot why not get him some PT?
Single digit number of touches and some of you are ready to cut on of the fastest, most dynamic NCAA players when the ball is in his hands. Smh.
If starting Dernard guaranteed that we would go winless this season you'd have my blessing

Shouldn't have been on this team this year.

If the goal is to leave no doubt that this team is tanking it, put him in as the starting QB the rest of the way and watch the comedy unfold.
Sorry, but if you're saying he should be the QB, that's just silly. I do agree we need to see more of him in the offense since he's the declared "Offensive Weapon" for the team. So far he's failed to impress in that capacity. They need to find ways to get him out in space so he can make plays. Running him between the tackles is pointless, and he's not fooling anyone in the wildcat.

What?

Didn't you start a thread complaining that Wisconsin got screwed in Tempe?
But, hey, y'all stay on the same level of competitiveness as Akron and UConn.
Do they have a "shot" for fumblitis now a days... if they do then Denard to take a couple of them everyday...
I dont see why not give him a try.. whats the worst that can happen? We win..
Quote:What is there to lose? Jacksonville isn't getting a first down regardless, why not give it a shot for the 1% chance he provides a spark?
Mr. hailtoyourvictor: with all due respect, and remember I'm sayin with all due respect, that idea ain't worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on

You know based on one play that? I mean I am perfectly fine with Blaine. But if you have no shot and then a chance to spark excitement from someone on the team you do it. Just my opinion. Does not have to be yours. That is the great thing of individuality.
