Hey. U know what they say about walking a mile in a guy's shoes b4 u criticize him.

What are you talking about?  This is a message board, what are people supposed to do?

Fowler has blown up on and off the field....why would someone not say that about him?
Ryan O' tweeted no Bouye in team drills today. Pats fans are excited on how good their receivers are playing, but no Ramsey, Colvin, or Bouye today in practice.

Here's the day 2 of team scrimmage on Pats fans message board

U right. Duh. My bad. That one's on me. True. Fareal Dough Sleepy Mssg Bd. Got it!
Does anyone know if Fowler did anything positive in the practices before the meltdown? I could take him jawing if he were getting constant pressure, etc.

Okay good I was confused by a comment a while back in this thread.

I was just referencing the patriots broadcast during the joint practice. They meant Albert
Man Fowler isn't showing anything about him changing. Still making dumb immature mistakes, even in practice. Does anyone thing we could get anything in return for looking to trade him?

Bet the coach on the other side would trade a 7th for him and turn him into a well behaved beast...

and if he still crapped out Bill wouldn't miss the 7th
I don't remember where, but there were a few videos of Fowler blowing up the Pats RT a few times. Fowler has been doing fine from what I understand. Also, the Jags have been hanging pretty well with the Pats in practice. Yesterday was almost identical stats wise, with exception to goal line and today was more of the same. Chalk that up to no fullback and vanilla formations. What the media doesn't report is that it's mainly situational practice and teams are going to work what they want to work regardless what the other is doing. Sacks aren't allowed, players let up, different formations, different player combos, etc. Out of the two days, I only saw two Pats "TDs" in 11 on 11 that had legit blown coverages. These other TDs were in 1 on 1 or like mentioned before the D let up or a sack would have occurred. I'm actually encouraged by the twitter and instagram stuff I've seen. The Pats board is fairly biased obviously, so take away from there what you will.

Yesterday they said he got some pressure on Brady, I dont know about today

I agree I have no problem with jawing it happens all the time in football, heck other teams camp have players fighting their own teammates and are getting praised for being aggressive.

But are guy gets into with a Pats player and people want to dump him, I understand the coach taking him out cuz thats what you do to cool a guy down, but he's not gonna keep him off the field for not being soft and backing down to the great Pats. Jalen Ramsey is out there jawing every play but nobody has a problem with that.

And the facemask come on people that crap happens in football, the coach is prob taking anybody off the field that gets penalty.
I understand the point of being aggressive and stuff. But with Fowler it's always him being so uncontrolled. Even when he rushes, he looks out of control. The same in this practice. They are under strict contact rules. And to have more than one issue to me shows lack of control; which seems to be his common issue....
I agree Sam. He's not the one to lead the Jags to a Super Bowl.

I like Blake. He's a stand up guy. Responsible, humble, hard worker. I think he's going to improve and be a serviceable starter, in the vein of Alex Smith or Andy Dalton. When he gets there, we will be proud of him.

But I think in the next five years we're going to look back at this draft and be sorry we didn't get Deshaun Watson. Watson's got *it*. And the reports out of Houston are that's he's really smart and a surprisingly accurate passer. Of course, getting Watson would mean that we would not have either Cam or Leonard. And from what I read and the clips I've seen, I think Leonard is going to be special. But we should have rolled big and traded back up to get Watson.

I'm sure Watson does look good in training camp. O'brien's butt depends on it! Wait until that game speed hits him, and he is going against a team that has an actual back seven. His old bad habits will come to the surface. He will be a Tyrod Taylor clone.

The heat on Blake right now is only because of the interceptions. He was drafted knowing the gamer mentality and took chances with the occasional bad decision. Heck, Farve made a living doing the same exact thing. The fan pressure will subside with more wins. If the expectation is that Blake should be a Manning or Brady, then that is simply ignorant. At best, he will be a decent game manager and always have poor mechanics.
I don't understand people saying he'll "be like Alex Smith" as a bad thing. He's 41-20 since going to KC. Brady is 47-13 over the same stretch.

Only question I have in Watsons game is if he has the arm strength to make all the throws routinely.  Loved watching him in college, I am looking forward to seeing him in the nfl.

I don't think those are good comps for him.  Both are efficient passers with decent arms and one of them doesn't attack anything beyond 20 yards.  I see him more as a Culpepper/Roethlisberger type.  It may take him years to become an efficient passer but he is also a big play gunslinger.  Heck Brady didn't become the cerebral QB with monster numbers until he was in the league 8 years.  Before that his peak was 28 tds and Blake has already put up a season with 35.  We are just impatient and win starved and believe too much of what the nfl and media say about our team and qb.  The guy is going into his 4th year and possibly his 1st with a decent running game to support him.
Bortles can't do anything right just like Brady can't do anything wrong. If Bortles has a good day, its luck. If he has a bad day it's because he's Bortles. You could put most NFL QBs behind the oline and coaching staff that was here the last 3 years and only a select few could have won more than 6 or 7 games. This team has been really bad for a long time and it goes way deeper than Blake Bortles.

For the record, I don't think it's a bad thing. I wasn't damning Blake with feint praise. I like him and expect him to develop.
