If there was ever repudiation of Gus Bradley as a head coach, this game was it.

Specifically Brooklyn. Where's she at today btw?
Great team win! A couple thoughts...

Give Fournette the ball on every running play...

Ramsey should ALWAYS be on the top WR, not Bouye...

The Jags need a reliable kicker...

And although Bortles most definitely played OK this game, we will most likely be picking a QB in the 1st round in 2018. His wind up is just sooo slow and orchestrated, good secondaries will definitely get some INTs this year.

The talent and potential that we all thought was on the roster showed up today, great win!

He was so bad. This year will show that guy had no business being a head coach.

They did. Back to back BS calls against Ngakwe and Fowler.

For real though, the "roughing the passer" called on Ngakoue for tapping Watson on 3rd and 20 was the biggest joke. The "illegal hands" on Fowler on the first Watson pick as well. Not to mention anything Bouye does was PI yet Lee was mugged all game and got ONE flag thrown his way. Hopkins pushes off every play and it's ignored. I can't wait for them to submit the plays to NY like last year after the opener and say "hey you missed all these calls... luckily the ball don't lie and we won in spite of you" tired of bad refs, its the nfl I'm floored at the ineptitude of the officials that call our games.

Some will simply crawl back under their rock for a week praying for a loss.  Others will blame the coaching staff for the Robinson injury.  Others will call it a fluke win. These are people who live for misery.

No... These are folks who've been Jag's fans a long time.

That was Smoot...

The biggest takeaway from this game is our OL held this great Houston pass rush in check

Yes.

They really stepped up.

For me the negatives are:

1. Allen Robinson getting hurt on the first drive
2. Jason Myers missing two scoring attempts.
3. I had to miss most of the third quarter.
4. Stupid penalties - some were very bad calls.

That's it.
Watson made some plays with this leg, but him not to worried about that since we prob didnt even prepare for him, next week we have MM but we will be prepared all week for a mobile QB

Obviously... we're going to question if we were that good or if Houston was/is that bad that the Jag's beat them like drums!

They one the divison last year and we dismantled them. The stats on defense are amazing but even more amazing is us not giving up a single sack against one of the best d lines in the league.

There's nothing to question in my mind.

He carried 24+ times, that's a lot. I don't think he'll carry much more often than that in most games.

Probably the team will run a bit less in some games this season just because they won't be playing such an imposing pass defense.

My point is that although Ivory had some OK runs, Fournette is a superstar in the making and makes something out of nothing and makes great plays out of average. He should be carrying the ball almost exclusively. They should not have had him on the bench early in the second half.

I do understand once the game was a little more secure to share the carries to preserve the stud's body.

Was all over the field today and should've gotten a pick 6. He's only getting better from here.

I was thinking the same thing at the time, but like I said, he got 26 carries, so I can't argue with it. Averaging 22 carries a game is about the upper amount that would be okay. That's 350 carries, which is a lot of carries, better if they can keep them down around 19-20. They're paying Ivory a ton of money, it's okay for him to get some carries. Probably should try to do something with Yeldon, though, I don't see him as meriting carries for this team.

They took him that high to be the man. There's no reason he shouldn't be getting at least 20-25 carries per game.

I saw him in on a lot of plays but didn't realize that.  Definitely a big step in the right direction for him.  I would like to see him to continue to develop and see him making impact plays closer to the line of scrimmage.  I hope we see a lot of growth from him this season.

Yeah - That was the right amount of carries for Fournette.  Keep him fresh and effective.

Ivory did great spelling him with 4.6 yards per carry.

We really did dominate the game. I hated missing most of the third quarter because we were so good in the first half.
This is the best football-related day of my life since I started following in '08.
