Underrated story: Myles Jack had a career-high 14 tackles today. #Jaguars

Was all over the field today and should've gotten a pick 6. He's only getting better from here.

I saw him in on a lot of plays but didn't realize that.  Definitely a big step in the right direction for him.  I would like to see him to continue to develop and see him making impact plays closer to the line of scrimmage.  I hope we see a lot of growth from him this season.

If only the refereeing were fair he'd have an INT, too.
huge win.. obviously if we can follow this formula every game things will be great, the O-line wont have to pass block much, lots of running with a lead.. etc.. however houston's offense is very weak so we will see stronger offenses starting next week with TENN

I would really hope our coaching staff says enough is enough with Myers and goes and signs someone. Eventually losing 4 points is going to cost us.

This defense legit looks good enough to keep is in almost any game, the offense has to be able to score 2 td's a game and a field goal or 2. Hopefully by some miracle Robinson is ok but without him we lose a big piece

True that!

Probably the team will run a bit less in some games this season just because they won't be playing such an imposing pass defense.

My point is that although Ivory had some OK runs, Fournette is a superstar in the making and makes something out of nothing and makes great plays out of average.  He should be carrying the ball almost exclusively.  They should not have had him on the bench early in the second half.

I do understand once the game was a little more secure to share the carries to preserve the stud's body.

You cant run the guy in the ground its week 1, he had 26 carries, the highest carries per game last year in the NFL was 18.8 something like that.

Ivory was fine he avg 4.7 ypc
The offense answered the bell when Watson came in and scored.
The shift to power running and stifling D really worked great for us. Amazing how much different the game is when your D gets sacks and turnovers and you can actually run the ball.

Correction...when the refs spotted Houston 7 points.
Congrats fellas, you guys stomped a mud hole in our [BLEEP] today.
Defense and Running Game keeps performing like they did today? Yup, the Jags will be in good shape!

A lot of units were good today (shout out to the O-line here!). But that DEFENSE,,,,,,,,, Awesome!

Then bad blocking by Smoot. Should have put watson on his [BLEEP].

That would have been roughing the passer. 50yd penalty and a free TD.
City of Houston: Harvey was the worst thing we've ever seen.

Rams up 24 - 3, looks like first place is gonna be Jags

Kicking the pants off of a division rival with smash-mouth football was once the norm around here.

Here's hoping it's back to stay.
The Clots look awful.
Well dang. I expected to come on here and see that we lost to be honest. So glad we won! I can't wait to hopefully watch the replay on NFL Network via Verizon.

^Agree. I'd much rather see a stifling D and power running team/game than a "Video Game-like" passing game.

It's awesome to see the Jags sporting this style of play (IMO).

Good point, guess he was just playing the way the refs were dictating he play. Sick

Lots of good stuff to see. A lot of players at their potential or close to it today.
