His stats is better than Marriotas.

However, the only stat that really matters is the score...
Bortles wasn't that bad, basically we are just below average at every position except rb, there is nowhere to go with the ball. Only one really bad throw to Lee and still kinda a fluke that it was a pick.

The issue is the coach doesn't trust Bortles. Did you watch the game?

The only stat that matters is W/L and Mariotta got the win. Better stats is just a crappy consolation prize.
If Bortles isn't cut tomorrow, I'm done! Lol
Clevelands rookie QB is better than what we have?

Did you watch the game? First 7 drives, FG 2 int and punts. Yea way to wear out the defense playing like that. Not accurate when counts, throwing interceptions. Bortles is sealing it. He will be working at McDonalds soon.

Hell, I'd take Alex P. Keaton over Bort. At least Keaton would have a quicker release cause of the Parkinsons..

A gas station ham sandwich is better...

UCf_jag_1 wants participation trophies in the NFL I guess.

Oh, and baring a miracle, you are trusting the same guy who drafted Bortles at #3 over Khail Mack to choose your next "franchise" QB. Laugh all you want at the Alex Smith idea, buts it's legit.

Worst part of that decision, is that Caldwell claimed that they had done scouting prep on the QB's coming out the following year, and they expected Bortles to be better than them as well.

So he basically drafted Bortles instead of Carr, Mariota, or Winston.

Yes.
As a famous man once said:

"We need to get better.."
Yes I watched the game, if we had Dede, Robinson, Rivera, and Yeldon healthy I think Bortles would be trusted a lot more. Should of scored more regardless against them though.

And this is exactly how Blake fooled the Jags into another contract. During clean up time.

Right now, Robinson is the only real difference maker in that group. If your 4th WR, 2nd TE, and 3rd RB make you lose trust in your QB, you have the wrong QB.

How old are you?
Bring back Garrard. Hell, I'd take Leftwich at this point. Bortles is a piece of garbage.
It's still week 2..

....week 2.
