Sacksonville for the entire defense. And Teal Team 6 for the Secondary (although only 5 major members in: Ramsey, Bouye, Gipson, Church & Colvin ... although I guess a case could be made for Peyton Thompson as the 6th member?).

Another name I like for the secondary is "Faith Militant" as a play on Barry Church's last name considering he's the "veteran leader" of the position group.

Teal Team Six(6) just sounds so terrible. Also Faith Militant? Goff snaps the ball... he steps back... he pumps once, he pumps twice... he throws a bomb to Austin and... FAITH MILITANT PICKS IT OFF AND RUNS IT BACK FOR A TD!!!!

What?

Sacksonville can only be used for the guys who sack QBs. That is not the secondary's job.

Teal Team 6 makes no sense.

I thought Attack Cats might be good, but it sounds more like our strength is run defense.

Other teams don't complain about Legion of Boom, No Fly Zone, or NYPD (New York Pass Defense) too much, do they?

Compare what has come up in this thread to those and you'll have your answer. Saucy and Thundercats...come on! Killer Kitties next?

Saucy is just the adjective Dan Hanzus used in his article headline. I don't like Killer Kitties either.
Jax da rippa, The auditors... Yeah I got nothing!

Team can't get sacks without coverage.
I think Sacksonville fits just fine for the entire team
Sacksonville is the name of the Defense and rightfully so! The secondary is the only position group that deserves its own nickname as a sub-unit of Sacksonville IMO.

As far as the stock names that have been floated around for the DB's I personally believe that "Teal Team 6" is the best (although only 5 members are really featured. although a case could be made for Peyton Thompson?)

Since only 5 member's are really featured I think "Cat 5 Storm" is a really cool name.

If I had to name them myself, I'd coin them "The Faith Militant" [shouts out to Game of Thrones fans] as a play on Barry Church's last name as the "veteran leader" of the unit; although it's obvious Jalen Ramsey is far and away the star of the unit, if not the whole team!

The nickname Sacksonville is based on the actual sacks, not players helping other guys sack QBs.

Because it's a play off "Seal Team 6" the group of Seals responsible for the alleged assassination of Bin Laden.

Team sport
team nickname

Sacksonville is a play off Jacksonville so it includes our whole team.

And I really don't care what else you have to say about it Smile

Also, nicknames are stupid.  I don't care what they're called.  Just keep [BLEEP] people up.

Is -86 the lowest rating on the board? lol

I think Brklyn is 2nd with -35.  She would be way lower because they just deleted like 30 negative posts when she got over 100.  So she would have more the tripled Brklyn on negative ratings lol

I was just about to double check on that to make sure I wasn't missing something where Broncos fans set the criteria lol

Why do you care? That is normal for a lot of people.
