NFL can't catch a break. He almost was a lock for OROY.

No he wasn't. The race was close between Deshaun Watson and Kareem Hunt.

Hell some had him in MVP contention

Doesn’t mean they do their job well enough.

I did not know this.

I wonder if he was red dotted during the draft and that’s why we passed on him due to medical? If so, man did we catch a break.
What a bad year for Houston in general and a snake bit one for the Texans. At least they won the World Series.
Oh man. That is terrible to hear. Hated Clemson and Houston but he seemed like a great kid. Best of luck for rexovery.

Perhaps, you should take your own advice.  You saw a post hinting towards Blake being bad and just had to jump in.  Not to mention, what I said/did apparently went straight over your head as well as the intended recipient.

Watson was winning it by a landslide.

We passed on him for a lot of reasons. The injury was not one of them.

Did the team Dr's tell you this? It may not have been one, but it could have played a factor. None of us know for sure one way or the other. Most likely it didn't play a roll, but you can't say it absolutely wasn't.

Do you ever read NFL.com? Kareem Huint was by far the favorite before Deshaun Watson exploded on the scene. Then people were saying it will be either Watson or Hunt.

Hunt was the favorite at the start of the season. The past couple weeks, Watson was the clear leader. He was breaking all time rookie QB records left and right, tied the league lead in TDs, and was in talks of MVP candidate. Just because you read something on NFL.com doesn't mean that writer's opinion is gospel.

Bruh, this topic isn't even about blake and you had to throw shade at him which shows immaturity on your behalf as a person. In the offseason we'll get another qb but until then just get over the fact that blake is our qb.

Hope he recovers well. This makes the Texans game a should win for us. Can't lose to a Tom savage led team which is also missing their 2 best defensive players.

How can you not like the kid as a player? I get the Texans part, but as a player, he's great.

I've explained this in other threads. I just don't think he's very good. I think he's very inaccurate and inconsistent as a passer. And I think his hot start has been a gimmick. Once d coordinators start getting more tape and gameplanning against him i think he will regress to the mean.

Jesus Christ this.  Makes this board nearly unreadable.  90% of every thread is just JW buffoonery.

It was not one writer, and I never thought the website is gospel.

The NFL regular season awards should be based on all 16 games (or sometimes every game a player started). This would put Kareem Hunt in front even during October because he's been great all season, while Deshaun Watson needed a month to show everyone how good he is - at least up to the end of Week 8. We will never know if Watson would have stayed the course and it makes no sense to speculate, but if Hunt keeps it up, he conceivably could have remained the favorite anyway.
Meh,, Go Jags!,,,,
Dude, hate to hear guys getting injured, but man, it's like heaven's gates are opening up just for the Jags to win this division
