It’s 2015 all over again except no Gus and a top 3 defense.
Awful news, was looking forward to seeing him play. Houston's had a wild year with Harvey, the World Series celebration and now this.
Houston went to having it's greatest sports moment ever to one of its worst in hours of each other. Horrible news. #HoustonStrong

Houston Strong?

A player got hurt. It’s not like he’s dead.

Are we also doing NY/GB/NE/INDY Strong?

The Astros World Series win certainly will provide much needed pleasure to Houston Baseball fans, as the Texans season likely won't turn out well for Houston   The one football positive for them is they have a Franchise caliber QB to help build around in the future if he regains his pre-knee ability.

For all his trouble, hes the only AFC South QB to start every game the last 3 years. I think we might win by default at this point. Just the Tacks and underwhelming Mariota in our way. I can't believe this, but I think the Jags are actually going to the playoffs.

This on top of the real life adversity of a city and area being devastated by Hurricane Harvey.  The impact of sports when dealing with real life tragedy is substantial.

I think based on how we did against the first time that particular narrative doesn't hold much weight. Our pass D is awesome, it would have handled him again. The only question is if our offense would have been good enough to get going.

Its the other ACL, kind of weird that he tore both sides so young, even as a football player.
Feel bad for the guy, had a dynamic start to his season. On a side note, this really sucked for my fantasy team, cam newton is my backup...
Would anyone laugh on the inside if they signed Kaep and he shredded our D?
Man!  Just saw the news.  I hate it for the guy, he has been pretty spectacular for a rookie QB.

The phrase "Houston Strong" was a Hurricane Harvey relief motto.
On the one hand, I hate to see it happen this way, but on the other, we just won the division.

They are reportedly signing Matt McGloin, who played for Bill O'Brien at Penn State.

I was actually looking forward to it. If he is indeed a great QB, and we are indeed a great defense, well that's just great stuff. I really wanted to see if we could shut him down.

You still can, just a year later than expected.
Glad you pointed that out, otherwise we’d be lost

Oh, and P.S.  get over the Bortles love.

A child having a tantrum because somebody dared to challenge his opinion on a situation. LOL. That last message showed your immaturity as a person especially you won't be man enough to say those things in my presence. It's easy to be a tough guy and use profane language behind a keyboard which makes you less of a man overall.

See, this is why nobody likes you. Condescending, know-it-all tripe like this. Truth be told, your condescension would be easier to endure if you were right about things more often. But alas, just like here, you're not. Let me explain.

The poster I quoted clearly meant the second matchup this year, which is what I was referencing. I did not need to reiterate that in the third sentence of my post. In fact, that would have been redundant. So no, in no way will it be possible for me to see if we could have shut Watson down in our second meeting this season. Is that clear?

I would fear it was a sign if the apocolypse if the Texans owner allowed Kaep on his team.
