Quote:Is 500 yards and 4 TDs good?

I haven't seen/heard "leopold" around here since after the Jags played Oakland.

What's up with that?

Carr is good. Oakland has themselves a real QB. I wish Blake could turn into one.

Blake could do that in 2 quarters, assuming the other team takes a 35-0 halftime lead.
Quote:Peyton Manning regressed his FOURTH and FIFTH seasons in the NFL. What's the point? Year 5 Manning had 26 TDs and 23 INTs and he had a top 5 running game in Edgerrin James.

The Jags have nothing. No QB would be successful on this franchise.

The Jags passed on Jay Gruden for Gus Bradley. That's all you need to know about how inept these people are.

Of course quarterbacks can regress. And they can rebound. Which is why I believe in patience right now for Bortles.

But at the same time it does no good to pretend he's definitely the answer or going to be fine. He's got issues. Soon Gus will be gone, and hopefully the jags can fix it.
Quote:Jerrad is probably younger than 12.

Lamar Jackson is often called "a right-handed Michael Vick," in his second year at Louisville. Nobody would ever think such a thing if he was a bad QB.

You're obviously just a "stat reader". You do know there is a difference between a great college QB and a true pro prospect QB? Lamar Jackson is the former. He is a dynamic college QB with literally no chance of being a good pro QB, as he appears now. Just look at him. He's built like a CB. He is rail thin. Julio Jones is the same height as Jackson, but Julio weighs almost 15 lbs. more and he's a receiver! Jackson would never last as a pro QB. He'd be hurt all the time, especially as much as he runs. His frame just couldn't handle the punishment.
Forget Jackson's frame, he doesn't even have an NFL caliber arm or accuracy.

Yikes Denver vs San Diego sure makes that thumping they put on us look even worse.

KC easily beat colts, we are gonna get destroyed again. I hope this results in another conference meeting then a termination of someone.
Chiefs are gonna hang 50 on us. Bortles will rack up garbage time stats and the score will end up looking like a respectable 51-25 blowout.

I was thinking 45-26.

28-10 at the half.
The Packers-Falcons game is great. That's weird to enjoy a good game on sunday....

Quote:LOL hahahahahahahahahahahaha

The Jags can't even find a good top 5 pick.

You people are hilarious.
You are worse than MJF.

A ton of people are on here giving you stats, video clips and reasonable reasons as to why Blake is struggling and yet you continue to deflect to something else.

You're a loser on a message board.
Quote:We look so incompetent compared to other teams. Even the Browns are a competitive team, they are beating the jets. I really dont think the Olson firing will do anything. I just hope Khan is smart enough to fire Gus instead of keeping him next year.
I was just saying this to a friend.. I'm watching these games today and the crappy teams even look totally superior to the Jags.. We look nothing like an NFL team. How embarrassing.

Quote:Wow Carr drops a dime to Cooper. Bortles would have wound up and thrown a floating quacker to the safety.

Also, Jameis looks much much better than Bortles. Such a shame, we drafted a QB a year too early again.

That is honestly the biggest issue I have with Caldwell. They said after the Bortles draft they felt that Bortles would be better than whomever came the follow year which was Jameis and Mariota. Right now you would have to argue DC was completely wrong. Caldwell is average at best.

The above average GM's don't generally miss 1st round picks (don't need JJ Watt each time, but need definite starter). They also figure out the undrafted free agents and players to fill in for depth and injuries, but every year this team has huge issues when injuries pile on a particular position group.

Quote:Carr may look good but the raiders are not dispclined at all. They gave up so many penalties today.

Fox said they broke the NFL record with 23 penalties for 200 yards. How can a team do that and still win?

Score more points than their opponent. You're welcome, JW.
Quote:Highly debatable

Not among people who can read the Jaguars roster.

Yup, its clear as day too.
Quote:And the Raiders playing for the tie. What a joke.

LOL The Bengals and Redskins did it hours earlier and succeeded. When I saw the time on the game clock I thought, "Is this going to be the first day in NFL history there are two ties?"

After reading about the penalty record, I wondered how on Earth Derek Carr got credit for over 500 yards.
