Quote:Yup, its clear as day too.

Even when the overall play seems to be down I still agree with you. We look lost compared to just about everyone else and it's glaringly obvious when you watch other teams.
Quote:You're obviously just a "stat reader". You do know there is a difference between a great college QB and a true pro prospect QB? Lamar Jackson is the former. He is a dynamic college QB with literally no chance of being a good pro QB, as he appears now. Just look at him. He's built like a CB. He is rail thin. Julio Jones is the same height as Jackson, but Julio weighs almost 15 lbs. more and he's a receiver! Jackson would never last as a pro QB. He'd be hurt all the time, especially as much as he runs. His frame just couldn't handle the punishment.

Lamar Jackson's size has absolutely nothing to do with anything I said. I am obviously not just a statistics reader and have actually watched him play half a game.
Nice win for the Falcons over the cheeseheads

Pretty exciting game despite the bad result.
Quote:LOL

Because Blake clearly knows what to do when he's got all day in a clean pocket, room to step up and an uncovered receiver right in front of him, right?

Right?

He can handle something like that, right??

Wrong. He makes that easiest of scenarios look like the 12 labors of Hercules.

Watch him drop the ball to his waist TWICE, and then not bother to step up with a mile of space in front of him, but throw semi-sidearm from a horrible stance and miss behind his guy for an incompletion.

BTW, I slowed this one down. Figured that might help you.

No matter how slow you animate it, it won't sink in. You're wasting your time with that troll.

We just continue to do things i never thought were possible. Example: The Raiders game, 4th and 19, they are going to punt, bad snap punter picks up ball and runs for first down. Biggest becausejaguars moment in a long time.

I agree, but that was kind of a fluke play. Not nearly as pathetic as the 3rd and 13 run by Demarco Murray when we had them backed up near the end of the half.

This too lol. That was horrible. Its stuff like this, is why we suck year in and year out.

How is that "continuing" to do things you never thought were possible if we had never seen a short snap and the punter approaching a ball on the ground to pick it up before? That is a once-in-a-lifetime play.

That's exactly his point. We continue to mess up in ways that have never been seen before.

I would argue it's a good result. I like to see "new" teams winning and not the same teams year after year.

Stuff like that happens to bad teams. Unfortunately we've been a bad team for a long time and have lots of those moments.

I am sure you can figure out why I don't like the result.

The loser is Green Bay.

Quote:Hey clown, watch the Raiders vs Bucs. 2 good young QBs. Might help your future scouting endeavors to see what one actually looks like.

So if either of those QBs regress a lot over the next seven games, you'll be saying they're not good young QBs?
Quote:That is honestly the biggest issue I have with Caldwell. They said after the Bortles draft they felt that Bortles would be better than whomever came the follow year which was Jameis and Mariota. Right now you would have to argue DC was completely wrong. Caldwell is average at best.

The above average GM's don't generally miss 1st round picks (don't need JJ Watt each time, but need definite starter). They also figure out the undrafted free agents and players to fill in for depth and injuries, but every year this team has huge issues when injuries pile on a particular position group.
Agreed.  DC has hit on a couple late round picks but the body of work is bad.  I wouldn't even care if he was canned with bradley.  The fact that he still supports bradley is fuel to the fire that he needs to go.  Ramsey was an obvious pick that 80% of casual fans would have made.

Click on your username in the top right and then click on manage ignore prefs. Type in his name and check on the boxes to the right of that field and save changes.

I am getting close to having to do it myself.
Just saw wentz beat blitz with a quick slant. Something bortles will never do

That actually is not as big an issue to me. DC is a first time GM. His first coaching hire was Gus. His first draft pick was Luke. He seems to have been soft on them somewhat because they were his firsts. But he has not really been as easy on others that much. Plus he finally put Luke on notice this year with Beachum, and has said that the expectations were much higher for W-L this year for Gus.

Plus we don't really know who has more power on Bradley staying, Khan vs DC. Sure, he could have got in Khan's ear and done his best to convince him, but DC seems like the guy who blames himself before others and didn't feel he had legitimately put enough talent on the roster to compete on the field.

My issue is that he is probably right on that count, and doing that in 4 years is at best average. Don't fire average for just anyone though. You have to know who you are going after, and I don't get the sense that above average is out there nor that Khan knows who that is either.
Nice watching the Cowboys-Eagles game.  Two rookie QB's that are clearly light years better than BB5 at this point.

Why can't we hit on draft picks like that?  Why have we just so absolutely dysfunctional for the past decade?
