Quote:So they won't specify who the "higher up" guy is. Or will we find that out later?
I don't see why that matters much. Knowing that Gus had no control over his coaching staff pretty much shows everything that needs to be said.

I did not say it matters.
Feel bad for him.

Everybody was happy with his offense last year.

Marrone should be fired too since our Oline is pathetic since he is here.

The real cancer of this team is Gus.

Quote:Last year was more hurry-up offense with deep throws. We don't do that anymore.
Yeah, I know. That's what is puzzling that they had strayed so far from what was working for them last year. Is BB5 capable of that style still or did Olson just lose his damn mind?

The thing is, Olson wasn't running the same offense we did last year. If we were scoring like last season it would be great, but we can't even get a first down with his style this year
We have two working OL coaches,v right? I would fire both of them and hire an OL coach who does not have two job titles.

That is what I don't get. Why did he change the offensive scheme when he knew what works?
Quote:Khan said "no coaching change." That includes everyone from Bradley to the assistant position coaches.

Sorry, but you're wrong.  You may have read a headline that said that, but you misunderstood what exactly "coaching change" meant.

Title of article:

Shad Khan: Jaguars won't make coaching change

Details inside article:

"Khan told the Florida Times-Union he would not fire Bradley despite another disappointing loss in which the Jaguars appeared to give up on their head man at times."
Quote:I did not say it matters.
Then don't ask...

I don't know why I even reply to you anymore. Good lord.

I read the body of an article. If he says no coaching change, he means all of them. It cannot possibly mean anything else.
So are the fans rejuvenated by the news? Most delusional people by far, because this does nothing. Everybody knows who the real problem is and he's still here so expecting different results is foolish. If the coach thought Hackett was something to write him me about he would've hired him in the first place. Wasted season under a trash head coach.

Nobody is delusional by being happy about the news. It is a good thing no matter what.

Read it again, or ask someone to help you read it.

Yeah let me know how happy you are around 4:25 next Sunday with this team.

As I put in blog, striking Thursday night how Bortles-Olson sideline interaction was non-existent. Henne would shuttle between the two.

You can't make this stuff up.   I have never seen buffoonery of this magnitude in 40 years of watching football.  Coach has worst record in NFL history, fires 2 OCs and 1 DC and is still the coach...BWAAAAAAAHHHHHHAAAAAAHHHHHAAAAA
Scape goat, but still needed to go
scapegoat, Gus is the problem

Remember when our offense was good last year under Olson, now we cant run the ball or throw it down field, and the defense sucked the last two weeks

For giggles they should make Gus fire his best friend Todd before they can him after another embarrassing loss.

Yup this 100%, no running game killed Blake this year, which made coverage easy for defenses on Robinson and Hurns

Hopefully we just go uptempo most of the game, thats when Blake is loose
I would will be honest and say I would be more excited or more enthused about this (though not by much) if it had happened earlier. During the bye would have made sense. Including showing Gus the door and promoting Marrone.
