I've been on his side since day 1. My thoughts were we needed a QB in that draft. I was fine with whomever we drafted as long as they ended up being the best QB in that draft since we took the first QB out of all teams and had our pick of the litter.
I also always says Dave Caldwell's tenure should ride or die with that pick.
Having said that. Since the QB we took is a complete failure and not working out. He and Dave Caldwell should be fired and released immediately so we can move on.
Simple as that. Take Gus with you too. Go ruin another city's franchise. Not ours.

It stems from not being able to physically control the line of scrimmage or run the ball. He's just getting tee'd off on week in and week out and it takes its toll.
If we have a top 10 pick and a decent QB is there I wouldn't be opposed to picking one.
