Rewatching the games I noticed one of the announcers said we haven't scored an opening drive TD in 18 straight games.  Is that correct?  If so that boggles the mind.  It would be 19 now including the bears game.

And???  Why does it really matter?

Because we hardly ever play with a lead

Okay.... and that matters exactly why?

That is how you lose games.  Fast starts and aggressive play wins games.  The Team has to control the game not let the game control them.

Football is all about momentum.

Because we are Jaguars fans, of course.

Not really.  How many teams have been up by several scores and lost games this season?  Hint... the Jaguars were down significantly last week and came back to win the game as an example.

We almost did not come back.

Nope.  Football is all about skill.

And momentum.

Almost doesn't count.  The final score is what counts.

Are you trolling or really slow?  If you are up multiple scores you are most likely to win a game.  Sure there are instances where a team losses while up multiple scores but that is against the odds.  Yes the Jags won after being down in that situation but was their second time in TEAM HISTORY! The last time was 1996.

Nope.  The Jaguars had good momentum in the first drive of the first quarter against the Bears.  That's not what won the game for them.

You seem to be in arguing mode.

Then the Bears got momentum after the interception.
Sometimes I momentum when I'm down

Maybe in your madden game world.  Putting up points, especially on an opening drive does not guarantee victory.  A game lasts 4 quarters.

Just being logical.

Your logic does not take into account every team's decision to get the ball in the second half. Momentum is why they do it.
