Ugly, sloppy first half.
Lots to clean up before the falcons come to town.

Damn, and we couldn't run like 4, 5 wideout sets, and school them with a aerial assult and march down the field for a TD. Pathetic.

Bortles should have left the game when Linder left. Shatley's a liability at Center.

Couple things:
1. Both of these defenses are elite. Bortles actually moves the ball fairly well through the air I thought at times.
2. Fournette struggled against an elite defense. Not shocked.
3. Yeldon is a very good backup.
4. Analysts (Robinson and Jones in the studio) still have no clue what they’re talking about. Harping on things that people bashed Blake for LAST SEASON. Not checking out of stacked boxes. Guess we better get used to this.
5. Lots of throws to the TEs. Wish it had been ASJ.
6. Bashing Blake but not one word about Cousins looking way worse?

Blake struggled against the Viking 22nd string defense. Curious if Kessler can so better.

They said is return is questionable. Of course he was never going to return, but the wording makes it sounds like it's not all that serious.

I watched replay and there was no sign of one of those bad looking knee injuries so im hoping for the best. No idea why we had starting defenders in till half especially prowbolers. Absolutely stupid

Jaguars lead 7-3 at halftime,. Could have been more points in the end zone by the Jags if if wasn't for the many penalties. Offense is struggling, defense is more poised. Bortles played the entire first half.
Hope we can see Kessler and Lee, the backup QB's in the second half. See what they can produce in the offense.
Players are tacking hard, but a tad careful in the field because of the helmet rule among applied for this season. One Viking was injured in the sidelines during the second quarter.
Roll over the Skol! in the second half! GO JAGUARS!!!!

Dude these sooooo much.
Not checking out of plays? Dude, its preseason.
Cousins can't be bad because he got paid a lot.

And to think that a certain poster thought it would be a good idea to dump Linder for Shatley to make room for Khalil Mack.

I'm surprised Blake didn't do more in the 2nd quarter vs the Vikings backups. On his TD drive he totally went Hulk-mode, but he fell flat after that. Maybe it's just preseason and he knows it doesn't matter, so he dialed it back. I'm thinking in a real game he keeps up the slaying.

One series of Tanner Lee is one too many. These gray area penalties are ridiculous and ruining the game for me. I hate to bash Fournette but he looked to pass up a few holes to stretch it outside and ultimately lose yardage.. he's hesitant and running sideways in the backfield and not hitting any holes with any explosion. I don't know if it's just conservative pre-season carrying or what but he doesn't look like the same back. Yeldon did much better.

Basically bashing Blake like people did early in the season last year. 2 guys who know nothing about the gameplan or what the Jags goals are for this game and are just piggy backing on last season issues

Basically he sucks (and will always suck) because he didn't check out of plays with a stacked box and threw an INT against an elite defense.
It's preseason with no game plan. Blake checked out of plays plenty last year. But they didn't say anything about Cousins.
Also, can someone correct the Minnesota announcers when they keep saying Jax kept their starters in the whole first half? They kept Blake, Lee, and Fournette sparingly. The OL was a second unit at the start of the 2nd quarter
