These refs are ridiculous
08-18-2018, 02:55 PM
Dont you dare hurt Kessler!!! Tanner Lee is not gonna be our backup *cue Michael Scott No. NO. GOD NOOOOOOO*

Wow. These refs aren't even attempting to hide their bias. Incredible.

Did Corey Grant die or what's going on?

Marrone is either not letting Blake call out of plays or Blake is too scared to do so. 8 or 9 man boxes and he still can’t call out of it to a slant.
Basically bashing Blake like people did early in the season last year. 2 guys who know nothing about the gameplan or what the Jags goals are for this game and are just piggy backing on last season issues
Thanks for the info because those two guys are two idiots on the Airways. In the case of Michael Robinson, he still salty at Blake because Gus Bradley has gotten fired and he had a close relationship with him from the days of Seattle Seahawks. He basically put his firing on Blake shoulder and felt like he was the reason for it.

I'll say it again. Our defense is better

Jarrod Wilson just saved that WRs life

Surprised he didn't get flagged anyway

Another Vikings player injured....

Fun fact, apparently the majority of the Vikings OL stayed in for the entire 1st half except 1 guy.
That was a ballsy blitz pick up by Yeldon
Oooh bad drop Chark

I really like Kessler. Team doesn't help him out much though.

Man I love the Leon Jacobs pick. What a steal.
08-18-2018, 03:08 PM
Chark cost him two completions on that drive.

I know. That was a solid Special Teams tackle.

Preseason is going on

Couple Quick Quips:
1) Blake is the starter, i dont like the play design on the pick. after that he seemed to settle in and find a rhythm and move the ball. Marqise and Niles Paul need to catch those deep shots, especially Lee.
2) Run Bortles more, itll open up the rest of the offense and keep the defense honest. IIRC he's one of the top 3 QB's throwing on the run. Don't need to worry about him getting hurt as much because...
3) Kessler is a nice backup. still seems like he lacks feel in the pocket, but is accurate and careful with the football. He can manage a game and get some wins but I don't think he is ready to be the guy yet.
4) Yeldon is doing a nice job as a backup, running well, looks smooth, showing nice vision to hit gaps and find lanes downfield and is catching the ball well on screens/dumps as well as pass blocking well.
5) Niles Paul looks lost. I don't see the ST's value he was supposed to bring, he's a TE who can't block, and his receiving and routes have left a lot to be desired, hope he doesn't make the 53.
6) if we keep 6 WR's it should be Mickens, no reason to keep 7, Greene is nothing special, ditto for wynn. Lot of young talent 1-5 at WR that can still be developed, keep bodies elsewhere and find a guy for the PS if they want more receivers.
7) Our Defense is the best in the league. just plays being made at all 3 levels with not every front line player in. Leon Jacobs looks comfortable, Ronnie Harrison as well. Vets are steady as expected, Patmon is holding his own right now, really good signs all around from that unit, I think they're even better than last year which is scary to say the least!
8) Sean Hochuli should not be a ref in a pop warner league let alone the NFL. The bias is apparent, the flag on Ngakoue made me roll my eyes, the penalty for the helmet as the offensive player ducked his head as well, just no consistency on either side of the ball for how he's tossing flags.
9) Cooke is the best punter this team has had in a while.
10) Gotta clean up the penalties, the near fumbles, pick, almost picks, and discipline in general. Hey it's preseason and I think we're still doing pretty well but they need to clean that up to be a contending team.
