The funniest thing is that there's a bunch of people now posting, who I haven't seen all season, or most of last season.

First signs of some trouble and they come out of the wood works, spraying tears all over the place. Some people really just aren't happy unless they are whining and moaning about something.
I am off the Bortles wagon after the last 3 weeks. No starting NFL QB should be able to do what Blake did vs KC, DAL, and now Houston and be allowed to start. I understand the O line is beat up, and 2 of 3 of those teams have solid/good defenses. You simply can't turn the ball over like that....

My only guess is they are going to give him 1 last try with a serviceable RB in there... The leash has to be super short for him.

Yeldon has been far and away the best player on this Offense all season long and he isn't serviceable? LOL!!!

I bet he can't wait for this season to be over so he can cash in, leave this team and go somewhere, where they'll actually use him.
I've thought more about it, and it's defensible to go back to Bortles because of the London trip. He is not only very familiar with how to make the transition to London, but he had one of the best games of his career there last year. If he catches lightning in a bottle overseas again, great we can kick the can down the street a bit farther. If not, we have a full bye week to install Kessler as the starter.

And if this is the plan and they start playing musical quarterbacks on a week by week basis, we're even more screwed. That only worked (sort of) with Warner and Leinart because Warner's a Hall of Famer and Leinart broke his shoulder.

I could see this being the case, but again, musical quarterbacks does not work in the NFL. If Bortles can't get it done, pull him. Don't play the quick hook game with Kessler, because then you've got essentially two starting quarterbacks, and neither one is getting enough prep in practice. Either Bortles is the starter or he isn't, and if he isn't, pull him, play Kessler and slam the door on a Bortles return unless Kessler is hurt.

Noticed that too, funny how those people operate, isn't it?
Did you see how fired up the team (especially the defensive players) was when Kessler threw that TD. They were so hyped about it that it shows how frustrated they were with the QB and offensive level of play before Kessler came in imo. I think there is a real chance this team will completely fall apart (and turn on Bortles and the Coaches) if BB5 sucks again, which is likely.
Bortles has finally achieved consistency.........unfortunately, it’ s consistently bad.

Marrone also said the starter would not be on a “short leash.”

yeldon is not a serviceable runner... no

he had another less than 3 ypc game this past week, hes great as a pass catcher and great in a change of pace role, but he is NOT a starting RB in which you can ground n pound the opponent

Yeldon is a pass rusher? I didn’t know that. How many sacks does he have? What’s his pressure rate?

woops... pass CATCHER lol thanks
I hate to be like this, but I just felt like the timing was odd for benching him. Of all the times it could have happened, Sunday seemed weird. I mean he lost 2 fumbles but on both plays he was running for his life after the protection breaks down and was well on his way to turning negative plays into positive plays. I just feel like our biggest problems do not have anything to do with our QB. Not that he is the answer, I just feel like we have bigger issues.

Nope it is all the QB.  This is what you get with a guy that can't recover from the smallest of adversity.  He has 6 4th Quarter comebacks paired with 7 winning drives in 5 years.  He is not a NFL QB.  We have been working around his glaring issues for years and it is blowing up this year.

Let's make believe that they play better and we win enough to turn around.  I'm not changing my opinion this time.  The guy is a team, coach, front office killer.  Decent QBs work with adversity and would have done better last Sunday.

Edit:

Here is what is shading my opinion.  Losing is painful and we have had a lot of it.  This is an entertainment product and I'm not entertained.  As much fun as the defense was last year, I got nothing out of the offense until the Steelers playoff game.  That was Bortles career highlight and he did nothing with it.

I'm glad we didn't get prime time stuff this year.  Imagine the ratings.
I don't think it matters which of the quarterbacks are playing, we're screwed.

We have two prime time games, but if jags stay terrible I have a feeling we get flexed out of the Sunday Night game

So dumb. This front office loves status quo

Who we gonna trade for, genius?

Sign Kaep.
Ha heck I blew it.. I forgot about the Steelers game and then the Thursday night game.
