Quote:Flame away but we've gone from bad to worse under Caldwell. I don't care about all the big names he's drafted this is a total suckfest.
It's a talent issue it's a coaching issue if ever you had to blow up a roster this is it.
Go ahead tell me about all the talent you see one the field?
On a message board filled with weird, bizzarre, ignorant opinions, this is one of the most ridiculous statements I've seen.

Quote:I like the roster.
They need four new starters at the most to be a perennial playoff team IMO. (One of them may be the QB unfortunately- but maybe not with this level of game planning)
The coaching disturbs me greatly.
Watching that crossing route be open a dozen times versus the zone without adjustment today drove it home.
The talent is there. (Mostly)
The coaching is absent.
Where's the "do your job!" from Gus to Wash when that happens?!!

I think there's talent on this team and I've been saying it all year. The defense has some great speed and athleticism. The offense has got some talent too. There are some holes to be sure, but the problem with this team is NOT Caldwell.

We are 2-3 with over 10 rookie starters so no. This is by far a cry for attention post.

Where did OP go?
Maybe looking for an flame resistant suit.

Look I'm happy with a win doesn't change the reality this roster is void of talent top to bottom. Very few positions for we have better player than at the end of 2011. Next year we get a new coach but if it's more of the same you'll have to admit the problems deeper than most want to admit.

Lol why do we have e to start 10 rookies in year 4 of a rebuild possibly because the GM has failed to fill most of the roster holes he created year one?

Practically every position aside from running back and kicker is better than 2011.

Quote:I respectfully disagree... Eric SMITH! I've found you out now, you're Gene Smith's son. Or maybe his brother. Does he have a brother? I don't know. But you've defended him a lot ever since Caldwell became our GM.
No I waited four years like I was told with gene Smith before judging, I see the problems with Caldwell and I'm not willing to wait 4 year this time.

Or you guys hope the promise Of potential is the same as talent. In its current state this roster sucks top to bottom

The #1 receiver in 2011 would be the 5th receiver on this depth chart.
Bortles is miles better than Gabbert.
Our 2nd CB and nickel CB are much, much better now. (Mathis vs Ramsey is a wash)
We have 3 DTs that would start ahead of any DT we had in 2011.
We are better at both safety positions.
I'll take Ngakoue and Fowler over Mincey and Selvie as well.

Landry and Lowery where better than Cyprian all day long, I'd even agree the Cb is Finally upgraded in year 4 and what 5 picks latter?
Which oline would you take?
This dline is younger but that doesnt mean anything at one point we hopped Derrick Harvey was going to become the pass rusher this team needed. Hoyer had most of today with little to no pressure, in the end they cam through great now talk to me about the rest of the game?
The skill positions beside wr are a wash at best if not worse.
The coach excuse ends soon enough. When David hires his second coach and this circus continues then we can start to right the ship.
