Best case scenario, we win out until the Steelers game, which turns out to be an entertaining shootout. [BLEEP] 'em.
Welp. Nobody wants to watch losers who can barely muster up a scoring drive. If the Jags wanted national attention, we should have invested more into our QB situation.
It is times like these we should all be thankful the NFL hasn't adopted the relegation policy of the premier league.
The game is about offense. The rules are made for offense. FANS love offense. People like to watch offense. Rams/Saints was amazing to watch! We have the worst offense in the league. NOBODY wants to watch crap offense. It's not about the record of the team. If we were 3-5 with good offense we would keep the spot. Just a horrible team to watch. Prob worst team in the league to watch TBH, that's how ugly this team plays on offense.
I don't really get the allure of playing on Sunday Night Football (probably because I don't attend the games) but maybe this will give us a kick up the backside.

Nice to see the typical trolls with the "Good and LOL" comments. You cats are soft as cotton balls.

Chill man, I definitely understand it sucks for fans that made prior plans and may actually cause scheduling conflict. My comment on "Good" was that they the players didn't deserve the privilege of playing on prime time.

And you are absolutely correct, it is about the money, when has it not?

I mean this L wasn't that bad. Tradionally something like Ramsey going on IR would happen. I can deal with a lost sunday night game.
the only thing that sucks is that we wont get to hear Collinsworth describe the beat down we lay on Pittsburg
Sucks for people who made plans for that particular time and such, but I'm actually good with it.

Until we play better, not sure I want the nation to see a shellacking.
Don't suck and you won't get 'flexed'

Yea because the Cardinals, 49ers, Raiders, Browns, Lions, Giants, Colts, Jets and Bills would all be relegated.....

Great point as usual Stroud!

Or... don't get so mad.

It's just football.

Lol I’m not mad.

Just find it funny how many teams would be relegated before the Jags and yet your post implies the Jags would be relegated. If you’re gonna reference something, at least have it make sense.

Trust the Brass? Hahaha because that applies here.

Me either. In fact, I hate being a primetime game. Give me Sunday at 1p or 4p every time. That's what I always saw as an advantage during that decade of losing. Limited primetime games.

I personally don't like Sunday Night games (or many night games for that matter), but it's because of my personal schedule.  It's hard for me to attend/watch late games when I have to be at work so early the next morning.

The game being flexed out of prime-time is pretty much another "low" for this team.  It's not so much the 3-5 record as much as it's how the last 4 losses came.

It's eerily reminiscent of the 2013 Texans team.  In the 2012 season they went 12-4 and were favorites going into the 2013 season.  Instead they won their first 2 games then fell off big-time (much due to injury) and ended the season 2-14.

I'm not saying that's what has happened with this team, but it is possible.
Honestly with the way the nfl and national sports media feel about Jax I wouldn't have been surprised if the game had been "flexed" out were the Jags a 6-2 team coming off a decent win.

I hadn't considered that the game might get flexed out, but I had thought about how horrible it would be to see the Jags get destroyed on national television after not having a sunday night game for 10 years.
Man...
I don't blame them. Who wants to see this dysfunctional team play?

Heck, I don't even enjoy watching them play now and I'm a fan.

Lol ... there's one game prior to the Steelers.  Winning out means beating Indy.
