I know a guy that flew over to Jacksonville for his honey moon to see this game and will now miss it.
Decisions like this suck for fans who made the decision to buy season tickets for their team solely based on the fact they had a prime time game.

....so what you're saying is that you would rather be forced to be exposed to Witten's, uh, commentary?

Hard pass.  Not getting a MNF game on the schedule is a win.
It's a [BLEEP] decision and it's an inconvenience for those who are traveling to see this game or possibly locally for some people who maybe moved their work shift around to see it during Sunday night.

It's a two week notice. The NFL had plenty of time to alter the time slot. I really wish they had the larger markets shoved up their [BLEEP].

But it's a business at the end of the day. Always has been. Always will be. Not surprised by any means. Just think it's a [BLEEP] thing to do to those who already made travel plans or arrangements.

Could not agree more. We have friends that have had to change their flight schedule. They were arriving game day at around noon. They changed their flight to Saturday instead. A change that cost them additional money plus the inconvenience of it. They almost just bailed and who would have blamed them?

That's sad. I get the revenue part for the NFL and TV but in fairness to the organization and the money the organization could be losing and the fans, this is a bogus move by the NFL.
It may suck for some people but it works out pretty good for me. I normally take the day off from after a night game (they finish around 6AM for me) and now I don't have to so I get 8 hours PTO back. Also, there's the added bonus that if we stink up the place I won't have regret staying up all night to watch the game.

Come on. If you are running a business who would you be more concerned about - a few thousand inconvenienced fans or millions of viewers and the television sponsors who pay serious money for high ratings?

Remember when we (television viewers) were always complaining about the dog of a show the Sunday game was going to be? Well, the NFL listened to us and implemented flexing, and thank god for it. If the Jags don't want to get bitten win a few more games.

It's worse for college fans. I feel for fans of the football factories like UF or FSU. Those people get jerked around all the time.
Well this sucks. I get us being 3-5 but that doesn't make a difference with the Cowboys. It would just be nice for the NFL to recognize it has 32 teams.

My hope, this team had a swagger last year at the lack of respect. This is a slap from the NFL, one year team, nothing to see here.

Wish he was honest with himself that he doesn't deserve to be a HC here anymore too. Ah well.

Huh? Injury bug hits and now the coach needs to be fired?

Delusional.

Smh.

Did we last year? Last I checked NBC didn't flex us into SNF when we were dominating.. I mean you have to perform mental gymnastics with this team to validate this. Min vs Chi will be a snoozer, and I will not tune in. I barely can make it through the Jaguars games. When they don't play, I  barely watch NFL games.

The game should've been left as it were, period. Jaguars should be 4-5 coming into the game for a chance at 5-5. Then we get Wells back and could go on a serious run, but no. NBC wants the extra 1 rating point instead.
Fine by me. It looked early in October that we were ready and deserving of some spotlight games. How quickly the tides have to turned to their former ugly stupid self. Can't even care about what happens to our games the rest of the season schedule wise. We could play on pay per view for all I care.
I know the team looks like crap right now, but yet the league manages to get the Giants on primetime what seems like every other week! I get the big market thing, but that is a really bad team.
Do we really want to be blown out by the Squealers in primetime anyways?

After what I saw them do to the Panthers I have no desire to be part of a prime time rout.
