Yeah the typical October Jags game was essentially over after the first drive.

Marrone making schedule changes to try to shake the team up. LOL.
If you want change Doug, start with your coordinators and maybe yourself.

If we dont win any more games I think Dave and Marrone could both be gone. I think we need to at least win 2 more games. If Doug keeps Bortles at QB it could be the end of Doug and Dave. I think Khan would give Tom chance with his own GM and coach

It would be quite the knee jerk reaction to get rid of Marrone so soon. Especially being tied to Bortles as he has.

Well Coughlin did essentially pick Marrone for the job in the end.

Marrone isn't going anywhere. Him and TC are basically the same coach. They will get a good draft class in here and we will move on from there.
Besides the Jags taking a L on their day off, this really shows the disrespect for the organization. I mean we had to suffer through the 49ers and the Raiders. Both of those teams all world beaters right NFL?

It is also a slap in the face to a guy like Shad Khan who has volunteered to be Roger Goodell's guinea pig for the London experiment.

As much as I think Marrone sucks, letting them go at the end of the season would just keep the circle of suck going. Not a single good coach is going to come here being tied to Bortles for the first year. Bortles is an absolute guarantee to be here next year. Just trot them all back out, use the Stone Age playbook and mentality against a last place schedule and pray for 10-6 again.
That's the best bet. When it's all said and done I do want to see Hackett kept when all the firings are done. With a QB who can throw a football and a head coach who isn't stuck in the Stone Age times of football... I think he brings some very creative ideas and we have seen it multiple times. He literally has nothing to work with right now. I'd give him a shot, but he probably will go down with the ship.

We earned that Sunday night game based on being great last year, and its our only one, I think its crap they took it away, yet Tenn get two Monday Night games when we got none, but we went to the AFC title game and almost beat the Pats

True.
But Odell Tantrum Jr. guarantees some sideline drama and shampoo spon$or commercials. So they've got that goin' for them.

Flexing really sux for the fans that have already invested/made plans to attend at a certain time.
It screwed me in reverse a few years ago. I'd already bought tickets and arranged to go to a 1:00 game. Not too long before the game, it got flexed into primetime, but I was already committed to working on Monday morning with no chance of taking the day off. Including the travel time to/from the stadium (3hrs), I can tell you the Monday morning work day was awful.
It's all about the TV ratings for NFL though. The attending fans aren't even part of the equation when it comes to flexing (as far as I can tell).
**side note - PITT is going to be coming off a "mini-bye" when they face the Jags in 2 weeks. They play the Thur night game this week. So they get a few extra days to rest and prepare for Jax. Figures
