We should trade LF to the Raiders, or the Bills

Raiders are suckers. Let’s trade them LF for Carr straight up.

The problems go a lot deeper than LF or Yeldon’s nonchalant attitude. Although statistically the defense may be in the top 5, they haven’t made plays, or tackles, when it counted most. #50 leads the NFL in missed tackles. #20 was torched in several games , including this one. His on-field play didn’t match his off-field mouthing. Injuries, yes, depleted the offensive line, but even when the first team OL was intact, there was no effective running game.
But in my opinion, the biggest problem with this team is their lack of discipline, and I place the blame for that on the coaches and FO.

The last game the 1st team Oline was in place was in the Pats game......

Criticizing Ramsey for the amount of plays he gave up------against the best receivers week in week out is ridiculous.

As far as perspective on the Oline, because everyone wants to just roll with the "Tough it out, next man up!!" garbage........the LT, RT, and LG were "next man up" the majority of the season, as they weren't even on the team the majority of the year.  They next manned up week 3 and 4, and then it just became too much.  Say you plan 5 plays a week for Grant (or more)?  That's gone.  Say you hope to be able to have 6 plays a game to ASJ?

Injuries happen, sure.  But at a certain level, it is just devastating, and that is what happened, coupled with the team putting a target on their back.

Just a bad year, we caught no breaks after week 4, and that is just the way it rolls.   We can second guess things, but we can't really say the plan was a lousy one, as that plan went out the window about week 5.

Yeah I agree with this. The lack of discipline on this team is pretty alarming.

So we can have two mediocre QBs being paid like all-pros?

Finding multiple players like Calais has about as good of a chance as finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.

The only thing wrong with Carr is Gruden, the most overhyped, overrated coach in the NFL.

Blackmon was going to be a good player in this league but he couldn't stay clean.

Yep. Bust

This x 1000-absolutely no discipline on this squad
Poor LF about to learn a very expensive lesson.

The baffling part is that it's something Coughlin used to not put up with.

He's removed farther from the field in his current role, but he's still in a position to ensure that should have never happened.

That's an extremely poorly worded article.

From what I see in it, the $7.1 is lost if he's cut in the offseason.

Meaning, it probably carries if he's traded or returns.

The article doesn't say anything but that
Dude acts like a clown. I like his running style when he's actually healthy and hungry but we need a new face of the franchise.

agreed. Their behavior on the sidelines was unacceptable, and LF is developing a history of attitude problems. I hope they can dump him now for a draft choice, and maybe get a player that isn't so stupid, childish and self-absorbed.
This is a crazy overreaction. Lets get upset with an inactive player sitting on the bench instead of a front office extending a horrible QB. a defense that played an easy schedule last year the went ahead and anointed themselves the 85 Bears an offense scheme that has zero imagination. But yes the problem is inactive players sitting on the bench. This whole organization is way out of touch.

Was everyone saying how bad LF was last year when he was the only decent part on offense or when he was tearing up the Steelers twice and his other big runs last year? LF had a bad year thats a fact but the whole team did as a whole.
I don't usually post, but visit regularly to see the opinions of fellow Jaguars' fans. But last 24 hours have been a bad look for the franchise. First, Khan should have waited at least a day to release his statement. An immediate release shows he was just waiting for the last whistle to show his support for his upper management. He could've at least waited a day, and slept on it before releasing that statement. Second, it doesn't even give you time to see who might become available around the league. I don't know how they can conclude that Marrone has not lost the locker room. Which bring me to my next point, I expected more when Coughlin was brought back, but he's just coming off as an angry old man. What good does it do to berate players publicly? It does nothing but devalues an asset. Handle it in-house, levy a fine, something but handle it internally. If they are angry that a draft pick hasn't panned out, then maybe look at the guy making these picks. If Caldwell had hit on his first round picks, the team would be a lot better shape. But after drafting Bortles, Fowler, Fournette all in the top five, he needs to shoulder some blame. Anyways my two cents...

Also, if they had paid me 1/10th what Caldwell is making, I would have saved them at least $16 million on the Bortles extension. Anyone can see Bortles wasn't the reason that the team went so far last year. That extension alone should've been enough for people to be on the hot seat if this season wasn't a success...
