Do you honestly think This was a snap decision? We have sucked for weeks/months and you can bet the FO has been working towards 2019 for quite some time. As far as angry old man, that is why Coughlin was brought here. To instill that old school mental toughness. If you have an issue with Tom now, you are going to hate him for 2019. With the undisciplined nature of this year you can bet he will be in Marrone’s ear nonstop.

Was everyone saying how bad LF was last year when he was the only decent part on offense or when he was tearing up the Steelers twice and his other big runs last year?  LF had a bad year thats a fact but the whole team did as a whole.

I feel you on the overreaction. These fans are fickle as hell.

But I'm not feeling LF for different reasons. He seems like he isn't a team guy. He looked overweight multiple times this year. He seemed like he had no sense of urgency all year. He hasn't been that guy the Jags thought he would be.  IMO, you trade him and try to get something for him. If he flourishes somewhere else, good for him, he needed a change of scenery.

First, Khan should have waited at least a day to release his statement. An immediate release shows he was just waiting for the last whistle to show his support for his upper management. He could've at least waited a day, and slept on it before releasing that statement. Second, it doesn't even give you time to see who might become available around the league. I don't know how they can conclude that Marrone has not lost the locker room. Which bring me to my next point, I expected more when Coughlin was brought back, but he's just coming off as an angry old man. What good does it do to berate players publicly? It does nothing but devalues an asset. Handle it in-house, levy a fine, something but handle it internally. If they are angry that a draft pick hasn't panned out, then maybe look at the guy making these picks. If Caldwell had hit on his first round picks, the team would be a lot better shape. But after drafting Bortles, Fowler, Fournette all in the top five, he needs to shoulder some blame. Anyways my two cents...

Also, if they had paid me 1/10th what Caldwell is making, I would have saved them at least $16 million on the Bortles extension. Anyone can see Bortles wasn't the reason that the team went so far last year. That extension alone should've been enough for people to be on the hot seat if this season wasn't a success...

You should post more often. This board can use more realist'.

And then followed that up by taking Matt Jones instead of Aaron Rogers.

Continuing in 2011 with Blaine Gabbert, leaving JJ Watt for the Texans.

You don't know what was said in the locker room, or behind closed doors. This is an extension to what we saw on the bench. TC didn't lash out from what we saw on the bench. I am sure this has been going on for weeks and he has had enough.
There was a report on NFLN that TJ was a scratch last week for being a malcontent. That I was not expecting from TJ at all. I don't know him, but he hasn't been a problem since he has been here and now he has drama??
I think there are a hand full of players that have set the tone and now others are following, in a negative way. That is probably one of the reasons why those position coaches were probably let go. They didn't control their respective rooms (RB's and DB's) and those players were not held accountable.

And that right there is why he shouldn't be on the bench looking disinterested. I don't care why he didn't play and I don't care who he's pissed at, he's a captain and needs to act like one until the season is over which wasn't until the clock hit 00:00.
