Yea all four rookies looking really good out there.  In Yannick, and Ramsey, Fowler, and, Jack.   Our d will be much improved once Colvin comes back.  Which many argued was not important to our D.  And some will see he is in fact important.  And one of our best Corners.  

 

Also keep in mind the Majority of our D is new.  Prince and Gipson and Ramsey in back end,  Jack at LB,  Jackson, Fowler, and, Yannick.  Is at least 7 starters are brand new. And will need most of the season to gel together.  

 

I would expect in the next 2-4 games to see a major difference. And to finish up along the lines of 8-8 or 7-9 Which is great for a ton of new starters on o line, new rb, a healthy lee, and the defense i mentioned.  

 

How ever if win less then 7 games gus should be gone no ifs, ands,  or, butts.

Agreed. Colvin coming back gives us unreal flexibility. They also like to blitz him from the nickel. Plz plz plz let the new guy work at guard; a running game + good bortles + aggressive defense= a very happy place!

He's going to thrive in the slot. Especially, with the boundary corners we have now.

if you rank him on what he is which is our nickel corner he is better than a 6. More like a 8

Nah. I just dont see why everyone is in love with him. Hes a very average player. Id say johnson is probably better

Nothing much is gonna change with him in. Id say ramsey house and prince is a much better trio than ramsey prince and colvin.

Well Ramsey can play outside and inside. Colvin can play outside and inside. Prince can play outside and House can play outside.

 

Ramsey is a force outside and inside, I don't think anybody worries about him wherever he's placed.

 

Colvin can play outside, but it's clear he's at his best when he's playing inside.

 

House has struggled all season so far and Prince hasn't in the two games hes played in.

 

Some numbers on House this season...

 

"House has struggled this year. Opponents have targeted him 21 times, going 15-of-17 passing for 185 yards and three touchdowns. House has four enforced penalties for 67 yards (two declined) and no pass break-ups."

 

Anybody with two eyes, or without a bias have clearly seen House struggling and there's no harm in trying out a different line up with Ramsey, Prince (both outside) and Colvin coming in to play the slot on all Nickle sets.

Im not ready to write off house just yet. He played great last year (much better than colvin), and he is struggling a little bit this year, but from what ive seen last year i know he can play better. Also, how were quarterbacks 15/17 when targeted 21 times? Wouldnt that make them 15/21?

I don't think anybody is writing off House, but letting him see the bench for a game or two couldn't hurt. Prince is known to have an injury history and could miss games at any time.

 

15-17 on 21 targets. Four of those targets were penalties.

Much like a walk in baseball counts as a plate appearance but not an at bat, a penalty in football counts as being targeted but does not count as a pass attempt.

 

17 pass attempts + 4 penalties = 21 targets.

Ahh i see. Yes when house was benched before he came back a new player so maybe thats what he needs. I just feel colvins value is overinflated due to racking up sacks. I recall seeing him get beat often when he was on the field, so i guess we'll see
