Its because everybody feels entitled from that generation now.

On a positive note, he'll be able to readily afford any fine levied by the Shield for his actions on Sunday.

Silver linings, folks.
Everyone forgets all the good things he has done. Only remember the bad.
I don't see any reason Myles can't get his game together and have a good season.
Yesterday was completely out of character for him.
Apparently Myles was at the press conference today in support of Jalen. Not a good look for a guy we just dropped a ton of money on.

According to 1010xl there were a few players there in support.  It’s not shown in the video.   But yeah, not a good look for him and even the FO for that fact.

Not a good look.  Until he's calling out Wash's defense and yelling at Marrone on the sideline I'm not gonna' worry about Myles though.

I mean, I'll worry about whether he's able to play up to that contract. I'm still not seeing all that potential being realized yet.
He needs to step it up vs the run Thursday night.
Hes playing out of position. As much as I like Quincky ,we should of drafted a MLB and moved Jack to Will. I dont think we will ever see him as good as he could of been playing MLB. Just another example of the coaches not using players to their strength

Not a good look at all.

One of the most respected posters on the board argued with me last week that Jalen and his personality are not negatively affecting the character of this defense.  The proof of the pudding is in the tasting.  The rest of the secondary who were acting out Sunday and disrespecting their coach are scrubs.  They probably couldn't start anywhere else except maybe Miami.  They should be the first roster causalities after the last game is played this year.  And if they can be replaced with street free agents, cut them before then. Once Jalen is gone we're going to see just what trash the secondary is.

Think of how much better this talented group would be if they were following Calais' example rather than Jalen's.
Why is Jack showing up at the press conference automatically assumed to be support of Ramsey?

His later comments (posted above) seemed lukewarm at best.

He didn't talk at said press conference

Exactly this. He probably just went for the freak show like all others. Probably trying to figure out if his "Teammate" would help their cause Thursday night.
Too much put into this circus. Have to let it playout a bit longer. Remember in 1996 Coughlin made some tweaks but stayed true to himself and it made a difference. Our division is winnable overall but it starts with a victory over the hated Titans. You have to beat them and see where the chips fall. I'm not worried about Jack at this point. Better defense against Houston and something to build on.

Our offensive line is still a problem and the Titans are going to stack the box. I hope they have a good offensive plan to put the Stache in the right spots to beat the pressure.

Been beating this drum since last year too, just like taking a RB instead of Bryan and now most of those folks are [BLEEP] about Fournette's lack of vision and Jack's lack of splash plays that he made at WLB Vs. playing MLB instead.

Some of us fans aren't dense and can see things pretty clearly. Oh well. I wouldn't mind Pady Fisher in next year's draft if he's there in RD2 or RD3. He'll be a solid MLB in the NFL with a strong supporting cast.

Would have been nice to see them steal Mack Wilson at MLB back in April. Good, young talent there out of Bama'. Could have shelved him for the year or rotated him in. We'll see what happens I guess.

He was playing the strong side. Telvin manned the weak side.

Either way. He made more plays on the outside. This staff seems to keep trying to force players into roles that probably dont suit their skill sets to the best of their abilities.

I keep saying it's a two way street. For sure. Players play. Coaches coach. But we saw how conservative they got in 2017 and teams were able to figure out our defense in 2018.

They always seem a step or two behind in the coaching department.

I am definitely anxious to see him begin making those types of plays in the middle (like most of us.)

I don't think that Wash's scheme or coaching is the issue for Jack at MLB right now.  I do think he's being hampered by the DTs not playing as strongly as they did when Dareus was playing close to 100%. His job gets easier when the NT takes on double teams more successfully and hinders the backs progress more consistently.
Carlos Hyde left the backfield without altering course or meeting pressure way too many times last week. I don't hink that happens as much if Dareus has two good arms.

I hope that's the case. I was actually happy with how the defense faired against the tinhorns. Especially after their performance against the Saints on MNF.

Despite the lapses in run defense and Ramsey's dropped pick six they only forked over 13 points. And I didn't freak out when Kansas City whacked them because it's Kansas City.

If they could just clean up some of those penalties and get a bit more out of the ground game they should win games this year at some point.

Hoping they smack the tacks tomorrow night in convincing fashion. This city, franchise and fanbase sure as hell could use it right now.

A bit of a dead men's respite. But it's respite nonetheless.
