I warned you once, I won’t do it again.
You guys....
So now we’re wanting to tank so we can draft another QB? I feel like he’s the brightest spot on the whole team.

One inch...one measley inch away from beating Houston. Plenty of opportunities to beat the Saints today.

We got out coached on offense today. It wasn’t Minchew’s fault in my opinion. I thought he was still accurate under pressure and made good reads.

Heck, his Tight End is 3 different guys on any given series.

Marrone challenges PI and it was ruled as called which was bull crap.

The defense did its job and some. The offensive game plan stunk. We’re 2-4 with some cup cakes coming up. Relax
You left out Caldwell, the worst of them all. The absolute worst.

I actually think he was the most inaccurate he's been since preseason and he forced a few balls he shouldn't have with easier check downs available.

Not to say he was especially "bad" but I did see a few bad reads and a few inaccurate throws- especially compared to all that we've seen since week one.
You guys do realize Minshew is a 6th round pick who is going back to the Surface Pro when Foles is ready, right?

The org capitalized as much as they could off him, and good for them.
Minshew struggled against the 10th best defense in the NFL today. Whoa no way!

Lol... everybody panics on here over nothing. New Orleans is a DAMN good team. DAMN good.

Said it in other threads. Nobody with a set of good eyes saw them winning today. This is a team that was one flagrant P.I missed call away from another Superbowl apperance.

Payton >>>>>>> Marrone. Ill start sweating bullets if they play like dog [BLEEP] against the Bengals and Jets over the next two weeks. Chark and Minshew weren't on the same page today. Cost an INT. Westbrook also stopped on an underneath route which could have sustained a drive.

Tough match up today. They'll get better.

I informed Tom Coughlin this week that I want him to see through our shared goal of bringing a Super Bowl title to Jacksonville.  Given our overall body of work over the past two seasons, I offered to Tom that I preferred entering the 2019 season with as much stability as reasonable or possible at the top of our football operation,” Khan stated. “However, those decisions, at all times, are Tom’s decisions, and I would respect any call he made on our general manager and head coach.  I am pleased that Tom sees our situation and opportunity similarly, so we will return to work this week fully confident and optimistic with Dave Caldwell as our general manger and Doug Marrone as our head coach.”

Its Coughlins call. Khan trusts him. I dont think we will make a change in the season but I dont know if this staff can survive a 5-6 win season. One or 2 heads will roll.

To a cynic, that statement reads, "Tom wanted to fire one or both of them, but I told him that wasn't going to happen, and since I sign his paychecks, he'll follow my direction on stability. I am pleased that Tom sees our situation and opportunity similarly, so we will return to work this week fully confident and optimistic with Dave Caldwell as our general manager and Doug Marrone as our head coach."

You think that defense that looked like garbage against against the Chiefs, Panthers showing poor basic fundamental defense and Foles getting hurt was gonna win the division and win playoff rounds and make it to the Super Bowl.  Take the teal glasses off and think. Poor football common sense acumen. Probably one of those that got caught up in the Minshew mania thinking mustaches wins games.
The Tom Coughlin experiment is also over in Jax. The nostalgia was cool, I'll admit it, but we can't move forward living in the 90s.

I don't even care if he was solely responsible for driving Ramsey away because Ramsey is an immature brat who wanted out from the day he was drafted, but Tom is a horrible evaluator of talent and an even more awful evaluator of those who evaluate talent.

Shad needs to look in the mirror on his 200 foot motor yacht and come to the realization this house needs to be professionally cleaned by Serv Pro, however, anyone who follows this franchise knows that he won't
Meh. If we get that 2 points conversion we are looking at 1st place still. It's a game of inches sometimes. Evidently we have some diva crybabies on the team that have to be weeded out and replaced but other than that with Foles coming back we'll be ok. Maybe not this year but next year.

Stating to really dislike the Coughlin hire. It’s been a decade since he’s won anything and his shtick with the younger players gets old really fast. There’s many examples around the league right now where the younger more innovative coaches are getting the most out of their rosters. Unfortunately with Coughlin at the helm we’re going to be stuck playing 80’s style football with the run-first, play defense scheme we all know and hate around here.

Oh you mean like Sean McVay and the Rams? How’s that working out for them?

You know that was what came to mind as well.  This year is proving out the NFL is a crap shoot.  Sometimes you need to catch some breaks.  We have too much drama right now over a player yelling at a coach in embarrassing fashion and being hurt because he was called out.  Honestly if the coach had come over a ripped anyone on that defense a new one on camera, would the situation be different.  Heck yeah it would.  That whole episode is so darn way overblown because the person leading the charge wants a bigger stage.

I think the offensive coordinator is taking it easy because Minshew is capable but is a 6th round draft pick.  Foles would have the same problems right now because of injuries limiting our options.  I think we have some missteps building this offense overall and it unfortunately will take time to address.  I'm not big on the coaches overall but we are where we are right now.

Also it may seem a text book case of "correlation does not imply causation" but we sure are seeing less defensive penalties with Ramsey on the sideline.  The defense seems to be showing less swagger, is that leading to less penalties?  We have a young secondary that needs experience and hard work and hopefully they build together and get better.
