You think you are funny, but you just suck... I thought you might have something valuable to say so I unblocked the comment. My mistake, one I won't make again.

Really? I was unaware that Minshew has won MVP of a Super Bowl.. When did that happen?

Foles best season as a starter was in Philly under Chip Kelly when he had that 2 minute type offense.  I'm not sure if Minshew is doing better than that but i dont have the stats.

That was one of the worst defensive SB ever.  You really love you some Nick i see.
Minshew is on pace top foles best year... as a rookie. No contest, he’s the guy.

If the only nod to Foles is experience then there is still no argument. How is Minshew supposed to acquire said experience if we bench him?

Foles finished 2013 with 119 rating on 2900 yards and 27 TDs to 2 Ints. That was a really good year by any standard and I hope GM15 posts many years like that one.
So I'm wondering which troll has slithered under a rock, switched profiles and came back as Ronster.

Oh Ronster is a real dude. He has a pile Nike socks with the swooshes cut off and a Nick Foles Chiefs jersey he found on clearence.
What I do not understand, what I cannot comprehend; what totally blows my mind is that for so long we endured having QB's come in here with all the promise in the world and have had our hearts broken time after time. Gabbert, Bortles, Leftwich, and on and on and now you want to sit a proven super bowl quarterback because the rookie has a great personality. HE IS UNPROVEN, HE IS A ROOKIE and he has a lot left to learn. Foles should be the QB for the next 2-3 years; THEN perhaps start Minshew... but really, you dorks should be happy we have an experienced, talented veteran QB that knows how to play the game of football. Good Grief...

I'm not ready to trade Foles and think he's really valuable in the QB room but I don't want to see him starting in Jacksonville. Not only is Minshew playing extremely well, he brings something else to this team: ENERGY. His constant energy is infectious and the young dudes on this team feed of it.

Chicago should be in the mix, but I think it might come down to a team poised to make a run in Sept/Oct 2020 - but then loses their starting QB early in the season.

One aspect about the NFL that jumps out repeatedly is the uncertainty of NFL Draft prospect evaluations and decisions. The Bears and Jaguars current starting QBs illustrate this as much as anything.

One team trades up to pick # 2 in the entire 2017 Draft to select a QB they believe is a foundation piece.  The other selects a QB in the 6th Round in the 2019 Draft that very few saw as a QB who could be a long term solution at QB as a # 1. Right now, the Jaguars clearly look like they are in better shape at QB in the present and future than the Bears.

Geez.... you're insane, bro. And you have been hurt by bad QBs in the past... but Gardner, in his first few games, showed more than Gabbert, Bortles or even Leftwich showed their entire careers.

Seriously. Nick Foles is a journeyman and we lucked out getting a much better QB... on a 6th round rookie contract for the next 4 years. and it has nothing to do with his personality.. which yes, is light years better than Foles.

Foles is gone after being a very highly paid backup next season.

This is...just...oh never mind...

Confused
Minshew has the best passer rating in the league on play action
Foles will not survive behind that offensive line. Why bench minshew when he will end up starting again when foles gets hurt again.
IF....and I'm saying IF here for good reason....Gardner balls out today and throws 3 or 4 TDs, even if Jacksonville loses beacuse Watson just somehow does better in a shootout or something, I still think they have to stick with Gardner. It's not anything personal with Foles. But unless he comes in and throws 4 TDs a game on average or some ridiculous stats like that, i'm failing to see again how he'd improve things.

The only knock I can think of on Gardner right now is the fumbles. But unlike Bortles I think he will tighten up on that as time goes on.
$88,000,000

It's difficult to ignore.
What’s that have to do with anything? It’s spent and not coming back. The best guy should play which is Minshew.

When a rookie is arguably better than a veteran, that doesn’t bode well for the vet.
