That said, I'd take three firsts
Do three 1st Round picks look good in jorts? No, they do not.
I'd only trade him for Mahomes

Damaged goods...
Foles to play out this world (80% completion %, 7:1 TD ratio, 100% win % with Super Bowl victory. Then I'd be ok with trading him for 3 1st Rd and 2 3rd Rd picks. LOL
A younger Bill Belichick from 2004.
Literally the Lombardi Trophy itself.

Whichever QB wins the SB this year in a swap.

Yes, untouchable.   Because there is a solid chance that he is what GMs spend a dozen high picks looking for and still fail to find.

I’m dead serious.

Plus he is on a 6th round rookie contract. True you miss out on year 5, but that is peanuts compared to 1st round salaries.
Unlimited/Lifetime tab at Hooters and Tilt-A-Kilt...

IJS.

NH3...
As important as the QB is these days, there’s no way I would trade away Minshew.

He literally has it all. The media loves him, the fans love him, and his team mates love his fire. He has more fire than Tebow.

He’s only a rookie and his accuracy is so good. Imagine him in 5 years from now. He takes calculated risks, and he’s smart. It seems like he always knows where the sticks are.

I wouldn’t trade him. Period. It’s just too hard to find diamonds in the rough at the most important position in sports. This guy is a rock star.

On the other hand, I would trade Foles for whatever I could get.

1 of them will be a bust. 1 of them will be very average. 1 of them will play for 2 seasons and request to be traded.

I wouldn’t trade him for 4 first round picks.
Couldn't do it. You have a potential franchise QB on your hands for maybe a decade+.

You build around that. You don't ship it away. He could be that QB where every year you say "Well. . . We lost X, Y & Z this off season. . . BUT! We still have our QB".

You'll get some up's and down's but he can be a permanent fixture. The kid has made some reads, moves, throws and decision making that you can't discount or overlook.

His test is London. This is it for him. A make or break game. If he plays like he did against the Jets in a duel with Watson and they go into the bye week 5 - 4 he's our guy.

All the gold in Fort Knox and Mahomes.
Everybody talks about that cheap 6th round contract, but can you really pay the NFL's best QB only $678k per year? He has already outplayed his rookie contract 5x over. Gardner Jorts of the 42 Wonderlic is gonna catch onto the fact that he's outplaying guys making 30x more.

If the Dolphins offer you all three 1st round picks next year, I’m not sure how you turn that down.  No less than a crappy team offering multiple first rounders would even be considered.

I agree. I think 3 1st would be the starting point. You could then parlay those picks for another QB like Tua or Lawrence next year. But do you go for the picks or keep the “bird in the hand?” High risk/reward.

Not that I would necessarily advocate doing it, but...….....……….the thought of 5 picks in the first round is interesting, to say the least.
Tradeing minshew would be stupiedest move ever in nfl history.
Essentially untouchable, one of the most impressive rookie campaigns of the last decade, super cheap, and is a huge hit with the fanbase.

If I had to come up with something, it’d either be Mahomes, or a young valuable player plus boatloads of high firsts.

Miami has the picks but no player with Tunsil and Minkah gone, the Jets don’t have a player I’m interested in (I like Adams, but he’s gonna want to get paid, and I think he’s slightly overrated after paying closer attention this year), same with Bengals...maybe if Washington offered Trent, 2 1sts, and 2 2nds, but I honestly wouldn’t feel comfortable sending Minshew to that cesspool, I think that’s just a reaallly dirty move, so no.

Denver? Eh...I guess Harris and a ton of picks but Harris is aging, so no. No one catches my eye as a great fit from the Giants...I know there are some here drooling over Howard, but I’d probably prefer Hooper...I suppose 3 1sts (TB or ATL) and either of them and I’d at least consider, though probably just keep the bird in hand.

One that would intrigue me: Saints offer Ramczyk, Teddy, and 2 1sts, I’d have to think about it. That would be tough. Not as much value from the picks but Ram is a stud.

Kittle and 3 1sts?

Basically I keep the Stache.
If Saints won the SB, and in the off-season they offer Ramczyk, Lattimore, and 2 1sts (basically a 2nd and a 1st at that point)...do you pull the trigger? Still have Foles, get one of the best young OT in the game, can slide one of our young Ts to G, get a very good young CB...

I’d probably just keep Minshew but that would tempt me.
Either giant cojones or no brain cells, and a passport, because this fan base is going to be out for blood.
