Clocks at Jaguars facility move back to normal time

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001...ormal-time

After the firing of Tom Coughlin Wednesday, the clocks in the Jags facility have reverted to normal time. Coughlin was adamant about punctuality and had set clocks set five minutes early.
man I love it when the Set Clocks are set back to the normal time.
Good grief...this just gets better and better.
Someone sounded very anal.
People are just piling on now.

No. He lost his job and should have. But this is what media and social media do. They take something and blow it far out of proportion. So what if he set the clocks 5 minutes early? Big, fat hairy deal. Absolutely no reason to write a story about except giving haters an opportunity to take the clickbait. The egregious thing was violating the CBA and the ridiculous fines.

And childish.
I can practically feel the tension drain from that stadium from here (wherever that is).

I agree with you. The man was fired. Let it go already. Especially this. I also follow the Lombardi Time principle. And that's 15 minutes earlier for me. Nothing wrong with that IMHO.

So's the clock in my truck. And Im not anal....just want to be on time

Both nailed...   darn click bait stuff.  We see it in everything.  They didn't get me this time.  But what is the one trick that doctor's want you to know?  I'm on slide 75 and still haven't figured it out.  I still can't believe what these 80's stars are doing today.

Lol, why are people acting surprised? It's the same TC he's always been, nothing new.

Agreed
But we all clicked on this subject in the forum.
One lesson that I learned when I served in The Navy was "never be later that 15 minutes early".  I still pretty much live by that today.  Setting clocks back is too much, though I doubt that it was really done.

I get anxious if I’m late so I’m almost always 10 minutes early (having kids though has made me better about not being as anxious because kids are almost always late)

However, setting clocks back 5 minutes in the building? What a stupid idea. Start treating the players as adults and if they’re late, starting reprimanding.

And once all this news broke, you had to know the truth and all the weird stuff Coughlin did would come out. It’s not piling on but instead, allowing the truth to finally come out

He set them that way so players would be on time for meetings. He fined them when they were late and it still doesn't stop some.

Treating them as adults is fine, but you are limited in what you can fine and the CBA locks too much down now. You are generally dealing with players who have been stars their whole life and they haven't ever had any consequences for their actions that matter. They aren't adults and that is the problem. The ones that are adults may not like the rules, but they follow them.

Setting every clock back 5 minutes does nothing if every single person knows they are set back 5 minutes anyway lol

It’s just another way to say “look how tough and in control I am. Every clock is set to my time”
Looks like we were on the right track after all .....then came Tom
