There is no price too high to pay if you know it's your guy.
The problem is that there is now way to actually know if "your guy" will amount to a hill of beans or not. You are just taking a huge gamble on who you might think could be your guy.
Foles puts them in a tough spot .... At least this year. Next year they have much more flexibility to deal with that. But, you don't hitch your wagon to a sixth round pick in year 1, unless you have a star. Minshew showed a lot of promise and was a heck of a lot of fun to watch, but he isn't anywhere near a star yet. Has a ton to learn still. I would like to see the Jags spend a mid-round pick (3rd or 4th would be okay) on another arm they think would have the ability to eventually perform (not just a camp arm). Draft until it works, basically.

Best bet maybe to give minshew a year with a more complete team and a full off season around him. We pick at 9 and 20 and do not see a sure fire lock in this draft.

And people want to draft another QB instead of trying to give this man some help
You are reaching. Big time.

Worst bet. Enjoy mediocrity.
