This happened to a RB one year in Atlanta. He eclipsed 1,000 yards on one play. Loses enough a little bit later on and it ended that way for him just under 1,000.

Bummer.

It wasn't just that one year. I can't remember his name, but he started for them for several years and was always solid, but never quite hit 1,000 yards up until that one year when he promptly went down for a loss on the next play and never got it back. I think it was a year or two later that he actually hit 1,000 yards in the last game of the season, and the coaches immediately pulled him from the lineup and left him on the bench the rest of the day.
Dave Hampton in 1972.
Excited to go to the game. Looks like the rain is clearing up a little.
Fournette and Bouye inactive

Minshew is active
Amazing how many guys are "hurt" for a week 17 meaningless game. I bet closing in on a contract incentive would be Campbell's soup for the soul.
I am glad that Minshew is active.

I think that some of these early games have actually been interesting. The Packers who are still in contention for the #1 overall seed and a first round bye, are currently down by 14 points to the Lions. And the Patriots and Dolphins are in a competitive game, that has had the Dolphins leading at times. (Now it's tied.) I definitely give credit to the Dolphins for playing hard and being competitive in several of their games this year. Even after their rough start where they suffered some pretty big blowout early on. They do seem to be turning a corner, and I think they have a chance to possibly end up .500 in this second half of the season. I would like it if they beat the Patriots.

Also, Teddy Bridgewater just needs to throw one TD to get a $250,000 incentive (for throwing 10TDs this season.) But I don't think he's in the Saints game yet, even with the Saints being up 32 points on the Panthers).
hi, wondering how many fans are in the stadium for this crapfest. we're up here in Pigeon Forge, TN with a million of our closest friends for New Years Eve. Hope the stadium will be mostly empty.
Come on Miami...

Flores looks like he was a good hire down in Miami. Shore up the QB position and bolster the defense some and they could be trajecting up with Buffalo.

Looks like they'll get that win up there now. Good for him. Good for them. Belichick's former coordinators normally get the best of him.

Brady's pick six was the difference in that one.

Man, it hurts to see Allan Lazard making great catches for Green Bay.

Hahaha!!

Go Fitzmagic. Puts the Pat's in the wildcards for the first time in ages and gives us a shot at the #5 pick.
Teams that get a first round bye have a 79% chance of making the Super Bowl. Not looking good for the Pats. I love it.

Since when do odds apply to the Patriots?
Where's the highest we can draft now that Miami won?

He played well today to say the least.

Every time I've seen GB this year he's been on the field and made a play or two. Too bad we didn't keep him instead of the Albino Tiger.
Well that's game for the packers

Didnt we try and use him as a TE?

Obviously. But if you hate the Patriots, I would much rather have those odds of them not getting the first round bye.
