Get us a Dareus level player for the Run D, some help for the back 7, and beef up the interior Oline. The QB is fine, WRs are fine, RBs looked ok, Tight End is an unknown. We need big bodies.
I'm glad that the team won. They ended the season on a good note and avenged that really ugly first loss to the Colts this season. I know that there are people who wish that the team would have "tried" to lose/tank. But the reality is players in general do not want to tank, even ones on struggling/bad teams. A lot of times they will play hard and somebody has got to win a game. I'm glad it was the Jags this time.

Also, I saw people on Twitter, say that it looks like Jags may get the ninth pick. That is still a top 10 draft pick, and the team has the Rams picks. I hope the team makes good choices, with wherever they end up picking, though there is no guarantee. I'll take this win/morale booster.

Haha I had to explain to my 6 year old who is finally interested in watching what they where doing at the end.

Best game of the year for me!

Look, you can only get terrible players like Fred Taylor with the 9th pick. We should all meet up at the Wells Fargo to end our misery once and for all.
Ok so if I’m doing my numbers right we should be at #7 pick if these 4 o’clock game hold on the way they should. Is that what everyone else is getting

I would trade down at any opportunity presented to me. Especially with all of the holes we have on this roster.

Lower risk. Higher rewards. More cap friendly contracts the lower your picks are.

If someone calls me looking for a top ten pick and they offer me a first round swap and a 2nd and 4th for it I am taking it.

Would rather take my chances filling these holes on along the offensive line on the back end of RD1 while gaining more opportunities to take chances on some of these TE's built for today's NFL in the passing game or more LB depth.

A. Nothing is guaranteed
B. Our History with high picks is bad
C. A win's a win

When you want this team to lose. It's pretty sad. The fans dont pay for tickets and tailgate and post on here so they can [BLEEP] lose dude. . .

Stop with this mindset. It's bad.

My friend get out of here with that garbage because we got a meaningless win that don't mean nothing the grand scheme of things. As a season ticket holder I want this coaching staff and Personnel gone so winning this game helps their case not hurt it.
It doesn't help them. They're out. You can call me a friend by Wednesday of next week.

Garbage is already bagged up. They just have to wait for trash day for it to be picked up.

Meh that isn’t terrible. We were sitting at 8 pregame so that isn’t a huge slip

Im not sure why the colts abandoned the run because we could not stop them to save our life.

Lol pretty much. It would cool if we won a bid to get the draft in dailies place or something. I mean we are in the top almost every year, I’m sure we would have a good turn out.

We're so stupid we can't even lose right and now we lost ground in our draft position and might keep a stupid coaching staff and GM

I used to think this way. Then I saw a post (from Caldrac?) pointing out how well we've done with top-ten picks in the past, and I get that maybe it's a lot better to see Minshew continue to take steps than it is to draft a bust at eight instead of drafting a bust at nine.

Won't happen. We'd have to put the green room on a docked cruise ship.

I must admit I quite like the new draft format. Seems a nice event to have on in a city. The only worry would be after our top 10 pick, most people would start heading home!
Difference between pick #5 and pick #9 is pretty significant. Would rather have had a close loss.

unless the converted indoor practice facility to the green room. i dont think it would happen now but if lot j comes to fruition i think it could be at least in the conversation.

Agree completely with it being more important to get Minshew to develope. I remeber when this board was in a tizzy overthe Colts tanking for Luck and us getting 'meaningless' wins over them. Luck only played like what 5 comple seasons? We need to just do us and let it fall where it does.

Luck had the honor of playing behind an offensive line that netted him multiple injuries and a trip to the emergency room.

People failed to realize that a lot of Manning's presnap magic and audibles made that line look a whole lot better than what it really was.

By the time they finally landed Nelson and Kelly and Castonzo started playing like a franchise LT the damage was done. I feel bad for that kid. He truly was talented. But his health is more important.

All the more reason to let Minshew develop since he's shown he can somewhat handle playing behind this line and it allows you to gamble in 2021 on a much better prospect in Lawrence after Miami, L.A and Cincinnatti make their moves for Burrow, Tagovailoa and Herbert.

If Lawrence outshines Burrow in that title game? That's the only answer I need regarding the QB position going into 2020 and 2021.

"Lose for Lawrence" or nah?

You guys kvetching about draft pick slots must not have it figured out yet. Draft placement doesn't mean jack if we can't get a solid GM who knows what he's doing. It's possible DC was hamstrung by TC but Dave has been here longer than Tom was and doesn't explain Dave's early misses.

I'm hoping Khan cleans house but I have a feeling DC stays.

Regardless, I'm glad we punched Indy in the mouth.
Read the writing on the wall...Caldwell and Marrone will be here in 2020. If they were being replaced, Shad would not be [BLEEP] around until midweek.
I told you jags would win this week. i said it in our pick em post.
