The defense looked pretty good Sunday! Telvin and Poz both played really well, along with Cyp,Ramsey and Gibson. I know the Ravens arn't amazing offensively but neither are the Chargers. I thought cyp had his best game since his rookie year! Malik played very well also and Fowler and yannick showed flashes. I know flacco completed alot of his passes in a row but to me that's just because we play that extremely soft zone that asks for QBs to do that. But I definitely saw progress! If we get a good head coac( and Bortles gets his confidence back(should just run an Air Raid against the Colts) this team has extreme amount of talent and I think that's why we are more upset this year than in years past. Our future looks bright we just need a coach to lead us there because we have the players
I wish everybody else on this forum was willing to see the bright side. There was a lot to like, even though we lost.

The difference here is that he waited a little while so people could get over the loss.

People know that there were some bright spots but those are moot due to the fact that we lost. Winning is the only thing that matters. Always has been and always will be. People like to give Gus the first 2 years as a pass but that's dumb. You gotta win in this league at all costs.
There is no bright side when you're constantly losing games.

Immediately after the loss is the best time to think about it because that is when you can remember the good things that happened.
We been talking about bright side things since Gus took over. This is not the year for bright side stuff. This is the year to win games.

Agree to disagree.

Most people need to vent. That loss was brutal. They need to let frustration out. They don't need someone to say "we lost but guys... look at this thing we did! It's good!"

That's why you had so many people bashing.
So many negatives negate the positives. I'm sorry, but our QB and offense flat out sucked for two straight games, and you're going to tell me I should be happy about Cyp making a tackle? On top of that we're 0-3. Gus is still Gus and we'll continue to suck, finishing the year 5-11 or worse. It's okay though, we saw some bright spots!!!!!!

Got to build on the bright spots man. Saw some good things out there and we will learn from this man.
One thing is for sure. Telvin Smith, Donte Fowler, and Jalen Ramsey are beasts!
I think our offense will come around this Sunday, we win,the turning point and we win the 11 out of 13 games.

Fowler needs to read a quick article on NFL penalties. That hands to the face one, where Senderrick was trying to explain to him you can't put your hands directly in someones face was worse than that jumping one.

It is hard for a QB to be good behind an offensive line that can't protect him. My dad told me years ago, "A quarterback is only as good as his offensive line," adding even Brett Favre would not be very good if the front five guys were bad. When we have five Pro Bowlers in front of Blake Bortles, you can blame #5 for getting sacked all the time.

Telvin Smith has been a beast for 2-3 years.

More improvements are coming for 56 and 20 as well.

Fowler is far from a beast.

The jumping one was a lot worse because it gave Justin Tucker another chance after missing the first time. Fortunately Dante Fowler made some good plays and will be a great player for us when he stops making mental errors.

Well that's just not true. You know who has had bad OLines? Brees, Manning, Brady, Rodgers.... At times, all of those QBs had a pathetic OLine and still did well.

I don't wish injuries on anyone, but playing against backup defensive backs will help us Sunday.

One more positive: This is our last week without Aaron Colvin.

An improving rookie, nothing more, nothing less.

Anyone who calls him a rookie does not know what a rookie is.
