I wish they would just release Yan. He isn't a team player. Watch Hard Knocks and you will see what a team player does when he expects to get a new contract.

Assets are useless because we are not going to be contenders? Just give up, you can't defend that position.

Doesn't matter. You release him he gets his way.
Let him sit for the season, he will do no harm if he doesn't play. If he decides to play and wants to become a cancer it will only hurt his value.

I don't think uthill understands the difference between letting him hold out and releasing him.
As long as we don't release him, we still have to get draft picks (or another player) before he can play for another team. If we release him we get nothing.
