Naw, Mishew is twice the QB Bortles ever was

Lol. It doesn't bother me but it's so funny how y'all drool over Minshew because somebody act like Ricky Bobby and he relates to the fan base doesn't mean that he has been productive. We'll see how he performs this year and when he throws a 35 touchdowns in 1 year or help a team go to the AFC Championship game then you can throw the Blake Bortles comparison in my face. Blake Bortles is no good and I already moved on for him but let's not act like Gardner Minshew didn't have a lot of garbage time stats too. LOL
I like this pick as well. Think he'll do well in Jay gruden's offense. Love the idea of WRs with the size and ability to break tackles like a RB.
yeah I think he is going to be a star.
With how versatile he is...I wonder if this eliminates the need to draft a change of pace back?
I hope he does well with the team. According to some of the Jags media members he says he was shocked that the Jags selected him. But that he talked extensively with Keenan at the combine. Laviska also says that he runs between a 4.39 and 4.44 when healthy and he's excited to bond with Gardner.

He reminds me of a better Sammy Watkins. He’s a big body WR and can take a 5 yard pass and hit 70 yards on you real quick.

What a Stud Muffin he is gonna be.

Go back and get his QB later lol.

Jay Gruden is drooling over this Shenault kid!!!!

His passion for the game really comes though in that letter.

I like that,

When I see him, I am reminded of an early play in Super Bowl XXV-Bills v. Giants.

Early on, WR Mark Ingram caught a pass short of the sticks on a 3rd and long.  He broke several tackles he should not have broken, and through sheer determination, he made the first down.

I can see a lot of plays like that from Shenault.

I also like what ESPN said about him wanting to put a place on the map.  He'll certainly have that chance here.

I am sure they will line him up in the backfield some.  Big, strong, breaks tackles- the guy is a RB who lines up at WR.
Shenault is going to gain a lot of YAC. He’s going to break tackles of smaller DBs
He reminds me a lot of Deebo Samuel but with more versatility
A beefed up sproles
Hasta Laviska baby!

Very nice video. He looks like a big bodied, hands catching WR who racks up YAC like a machine. Our franchise has never really had a utility player of his caliber. I hope he can be used to his full potential.

I can't tell. Our two 2020 NFL first round draft picks are stellar.

Quick syntax dissection:

1) Were you really amazed because it was unexpected, to you?
2) If so, is it fair to surmise that you subscribed to the said stereotype?

Anywho, you may respond to this portion privately so we don't veer into a sociological angle here. Heartfelt, earnestly written piece by a battle tested student who regards his late father highly.

Excited to see such a versatile, physical presence in the Jags O, with serious home run abilities. Love that he aspires to be as dominating as Julio, and as businesslike and durable as Fitz. An ideal combination. Keep regaining health mate, welcome to Duval.
Watching the Jay Gruden offence at the Bengals, could this be a similar player to Sanu??
Could use him the same way they used Sanu but I think Shenault is just more explosive and dangerous. He’s definitely going to be an all purpose weapon.

Really excited about this kid.

Pro Bowl receiver Chark with Shenault and Westbrook working the middle. It looks like they are going to let Oliver show his worth at TE. Oliver is also poised to contribute in a big way.

Can’t wait to see where they go at RB. Just too bad Yan is being dumb.

I agree. We have had a pretty solid draft so far IMO.  I would say a B+ at minimum.
