That could be our 3-4 NT demanding a double team.
I hate the number 52 for a NT, should be in the 90s imo. I thought 52 was for LBs
He's starting to flash that pass rush ability that I saw at Ohio State. If he had a competent 3 technique playing next to him, I bet he'd have even better numbers. With Abry Jones out and his playing time increased, I bet we'll be hearing a lot more good things about Hamilton.
He played decent but I wouldn’t call him dominate lol.

I wouldn't either, but for a rookie who is finally getting more playing time due to Jones' injury, he was probably our most consistent defensive player on Sunday. That's something to be positive about. He was getting pressure on the QB. That's better than the rest of the D-Linemen.

I think Jones is our most consistent player on defense....not in a good way.

I wouldn't call him dominate either, because verbs aren't adjectives.

sorry, long season and I couldn't resist invoking a ghost of days past
He's been one of the bright spots for our defense but I still think we could have gone Elliott in the 3rd and Hamilton woulda been there in the 4th. Imagine if we had those two paired inside for half a decade. Man.

I don't even think Elliott is starting for the Browns. He only has 3 assisted tackles for the season on his stat line.

Naw, should of taken Hamilton in the 3rd and the best TE in the draft, Harrison Bryant. Hamilton wouldnt of been there in the 4th though. Fotu even went before our 4th round pick

Maybe he has fallen off or not been playing much lately, I saw a bunch of tweets like this one after the first few weeks.

Back to back really good games for Hamilton

In Hamilton last 2 games he has had the highest grade for a rookie defender in the league and the highest grade for any Jag in the last 2. Not bad
Where are all those armchair GMs that thought he was over drafted?

I'm not gonna gloat, because that would be wrong, but I was singing his praises before the draft, during the draft and after the draft. In fact, I projected him to the Jags in round 3. Once Abry Jones was out of the way, Hamilton really started coming into his own. We still have to find a dominant pass rushing 3 technique to pair with him, but until then, Doug Costin had been steadily improving. I think he will end up being an important role player for this team as well. At least we got one thing right in the draft and some of our better players (Costin and Robinson) were picked up as undrafted free agents. They've been outplaying our first round picks.
Hamilton has been a bright spot on defense.
For the 2nd best NT behind Derrick Brown, it was between Fotu and Hamilton. Still early but it looks like Dave picked the right NT between the 2 and seeing we weren't able to get Brown. Hamilton is starting to play like one of the best rookies in the league
Best interior defensive lineman on the team right now.
