I can’t see how they’d go into the season with three rookie corners on the active roster. Figured they would’ve signed more veterans.

I think there will be some camp casualties who get cut from other squads where we could use more o-line depth/competition.

We'll see how well Barth is versatile though.

Unfortunately they seem to have been telling the truth when they said they're comfortable with our current Oline. I had hoped it was a smokescreen and they'd address it during the draft, with more than a 4th round converted TE (that I think will eventually be a starting guard for us). Even if there are camp casualties, I don't have any faith in Caldwell and company to sign anyone if they truly have confidence in our oline after last years performance.

Sure his 28-3 ratio is great, but when you don't take risks, you don't throw INTs.

He's 6'7. He should be throwing passes over everybody's hands and reach at the line. Hopefully he's not stiff in the pocket like Tanner Lee.

Poor man's Brock Osweiler.
My concern is RB. What happens with Fournette? Armstead ready? Do they eye Devonta Freeman in F.A since he's still available? Do they trade for another guy?

Just concerned with the lack of focus on offense during this draft after they signed 5 defenders in March and spent 7 of their 12 picks [including both first round picks] on defense.

Yet, Wash gets to keep his job because he's so damn good at scheming right?

Tacks got McDonald at QB. Really liked this kid. Him and Montez both.

And yet you say this is an awful draft class when you don't even know the players.

I just said I’m not thrilled or particularly excited to see anyone outside of our first 3 guys drafted. Hopefully I’m wrong and they’re all Pro Bowlers, just nothing done today to really interest me or excite me for TC or the regular season.

In general of course I’m excited but rds 3-7 have been brutal from an expectation vs reality standpoint

For a team eager to trade Fournette, they weren't planning well for that scenario avoiding RB in the draft.  I'd argue our RB situation isnt great as is. And I'd we did give up on Fournette we'd be super thin.

They tried with Dennard, weird offseason with covid I suppose. Sucks we had so much draft capital and moved absolutely nowhere

We're thin as it is with snorasauras
That last corner is a former WR and a return specialist w/a 4.36 40. I wonder if Gruden would wanna try him on O in some packages
This draft has been an utter disappointment. Caldwell looked like he was a first ever GM. He is the worst. I doubt he'll ever get another GM position the rest of his career.

Looks like they did not use it as well as we could have hoped.  *sigh*
I see a whole lot of special team's and 3rd stringers after you get past the Bartch selection. Johnson from Texas could be good. But I worry about these undersized CBs even making the roster. Especially in a division where you're looking at big, physical RB's like David Johnson, Derrick Henry and Johnathan Taylor now. That's six games right there.

And believe me. The fact that everybody highlighted that Henderson's not up for tackling is already being circled in red and you can bet your bottom damn dollar that they'll be sending the TE, FB and kicking the G out around to his side to put theory to practice.

DraftWire gave us an A for our draft class, highest in the division

How drunk were these guys during the draft? I was doing my best. but they out drank me!

Complete morons.

Yeah against div 3 competition. He would get destroyed in the SEC.

He showed up doing that at the Senior Bowl against better competition. He was a TE that moved to LT and he'll play inside for us. He's a pile mover and excells in run blocking.

He was getting driven back by Kinlaw.

Well, there's a reason Kinlaw was a top 15, 20 pick and Bartch slipped to RD4. I liked Kinlaw more than Brown coming out of college. Hopefully we made the right decision taking Henderson over him and selecting Hamilton in RD3 instead.

Bryan needs to step it the hell up in year three now. He should be pushing guys around and collapsing the pocket more effectively. Instead of playing Fortnite like a little school boy he needs to have his [BLEEP] hitting the sleds and flipping tires somewhere here or wherever he chooses to reside.

A guy that size with that much natural athletic ability should be honing it and working on his technique. If he's been doing that I haven't seen it consistently enough on the football field. We passed up on Michel and Chubb at RB when we knew we needed some help in the backfield. They spent 2017 running it on everybody. You would have thought conventional wisdom would have called for another intriguing RB there to spell Fournette better than Yeldon (who left) and Grant (injured foot).
