Flip a coin for Bunnie ... or Rock, Paper, Scissors ... Oh wait, I have a gun.

MINE. Smile

I live in Florida, do you think I'm unarmed?
Anyone see the video of the guy exercising his 2nd amendment rights on ANTIFA when attacked in the street? Love it.

On Twitter, search ANTIFA shot and keep volume up.
I saw it, and it was Beautiful

That moment when you realize you aren't invincible and people fight back.

You can hear one of the cowards scream "get his license plate". For what? To call into the cops you want to get rid of? hahah
That’ll learn him.
Pretty sure that guy got arrested and is being prosecuted.

I'm no attorney, but I am pretty sure that is pretty much textbook self-defense right there. I wish the prosecution luck. They are going to need it.
It looked like textbook self-defense to me, too, but we'd need a brain expert to testify before we could really know if that was the case or not.
Interesting about how the MSM has reported (or lack thereof) the shootings in the antifa district of Seattle.
They don't care. They only put out stories that follows the talking points. You can find plenty of journalists who will confirm this, and, coincidentally, no longer work for MSM.

Anyone can visit any day of the week...
Maybe you can go and expose what's really going on over there!
After two shootings over the weekend the mayor is working with the organizers to shut it down.

Uh, so it's no longer a peaceful summer camp?

And I thought only the Police and the Government could have guns in Socialist Utopia

Sometimes some of you guys say things like "the mainstream media is not reporting [on something]..." when the slightest bit if googling will show you that they are reporting on it.

I'm thinking that maybe the right wing media is telling you that the mainstream media is not reporting on something, and you believe it without questioning it.

I will admit that Fox news does a lot more reporting on the Seattle Autonomous Zone, but they reason they do that is because they are trying to make a political point.  And the fake pictures they posted recently show that.
It's not that they don't report on it, it's the level of attention given to it. When I grew up, journalists and their teams went out to find news worthy stories and break information to the public. Once the story was broken, other news agencies would pick it up and bring on politically diverse panels to talk about it. Now, the guys on TV, by and large, are given their talking points by their producers and the panels are hand picked to reflect the opinion they want given to the public. When I complain it's not being covered, I am saying it's not getting the attention it deserves. So, I understand what you are saying, but it's not really addressing my point.

To be fair, this goes both ways. We have a 24 hour news cycle with the MSM and Fox News that has become more obsessed with catering to it's base (for profit) than addressing truth. Even the new upstart news networks tailor heavily to one side or the other.

I agree with you that how much attention this "Chop Zone" deserves is a matter of opinion.  The right wing media wants to give it a lot of attention so they can sell the idea that if Trump loses the election, this will happen everywhere.  Does it really deserve that level of attention?  It depends on what you think it all means.  And that is subjective.

Foxnews.com leads today with SIX stories about it.  Fox News even posted fake pictures of things burning and people carrying around weapons.  That makes Foxnews' agenda very transparent.  They want to make you afraid.  They want to make you think that electing Joe Biden will mean that the crazies will take over the country.

So, obviously, if the Chop Zone is a portent of things to come IT DESERVES A LOT OF ATTENTION!!!  But if you think this is just a weird Seattle thing, a local issue, and it will inevitably collapse of its own accord, then you're not that concerned about it.  And as far as a shooting happening there, shootings happen all the time.

To me, it's just an interesting little American story that doesn't mean much for anyone outside of Seattle.  Some day, PBS will do an "American Experience" documentary on it.  It'll be something like "The Rise and Fall of the Seattle Chop Zone," and people will vaguely remember that there was such a thing and tune in for some nostalgia and history.

People act like this is some threat to Western civilization (SEATTLE HAS FALLEN!!!), but it's not.  It's just a weird little thing that's happening in Seattle, where weird things like this tend to happen.

It's a huge story. You have section of the city that has been annexed from the city, state, and federal government. They would probably claim since they have no leadership that it isn't the case, but that is what has happened. This should be a huge story for both sides because either it works or it doesn't.
What is happening in Seattle is a really big deal. It shows you what is happening among the most radical in this country. Furthermore, you are seeing that there is an abnormal amount of people who are supportive of these actions, not necessarily because they agree with it, but because they don't think it's that big a deal. This is the kind of passive thinking that has led to revolutions in other nations. As a student of history, it's pretty common to watch a majority of the people of a nation do nothing, one way or the other, while two factions fight for control of it. It will most likely be the same here in America, too. Because there is no leader in this new socialist revolution (that you don't think exists), I think it lulls people into a false sense of security.

Under regular circumstances, this should be the dominant story. However, with the death of Floyd, reform of police, and Covid-19, I think it's possible to split time between the issues. On that note, I don't think 6 stories is an extreme amount for a news organization like Fox. However, I am not sure what percentage of the headlines the Seattle story is consuming. I do know it's not covered enough by the rest of the MSM.

To the point about Fox being duped or manipulating pictures, I completely agree. It's completely unacceptable.

Until they are directly affected by it when some group comes in and takes over their neighborhood. Pretty sure they'll take it seriously at that point. No sooner than I said to some folks if NC governer was dumb enough to try that here he had another thing coming because we won't stand for it, did some idiots try It in Asheville, the most progressive city here, and the cops shut that crap down immediately.

It would be interesting to know if any of the folks who live and/or work in the CHOP zone thought the idea could be a good one until they were in the middle of it for real and realized it was not all sunshine and rainbows.
