We still have a chance to turn this ship around, per Brunell article, our defense is playing good, now we need the offense to play like last year and cut down the turnovers and dumb mistakes, we can run the table. 13-3 here we come.
^ Actually, the defense has played pretty well in the 2nd half of both the GB and Ravens games. Looks like there has been some Halftime adjustment going on for the defense, and it has worked for 2 games.
GB game:
Jags defense held GB to 6 points in the 2nd half.
Ravens game:
Jags defense held Ravens to 6 points in the 2nd half (while forcing 3 turnovers in Ravens territory in the 4th qtr).
So, small shout-out to the Defense and Halftime adjustments made on that side of the ball!
That is a positive. However, it's still a "small shout-out" because the Jags are still losing.
Jags defense has played good 2nd half football against 2 very experienced QBs (Rodgers, Flacco).
We will go 0-17 if for some reason Gus isn't fired during the bye week. I'll consider the bye week a loss as well.
