As someone who's cosplaying as a politican shes going to try do the both sides thing all the way to a nomination in 2024/2028 but pretty clear shift from far left to...closer to center but still left.

AOC played her hand too soon.  There is no doubt, by anyone, where her allegiances lie. Unless this country takes a hard lurch left, she has forever poisoned her well.

She might not want to be President.
Being one of the top five most recognizable members of Congress has a lot of perks. A lot of people listen to you even if they don't agree, and you don't get blamed when stuff goes wrong!
I wouldn't want to be President if I was her.

I'd be surprised if her goal was anything but that. She has the same naked careerism as Hilary, just wrapped up in a more enticing package
Biden himself can't establish anything. Dementia set in about 5 years ago.

But the elites (who are all pedophiles, btw) who control him will do whatever they want, to whomever they want, whenever they want to... and the sheeple will applaud it.
Biden/Harris is not a progressive ticket. They will ultimately move the needle that direction, but in the methodical, predetermined manner it has been moving for years.

I suspect the next priority will be limiting gun ownership.

The Democrats aren't moving more progressive. They near unanimously just rejected Medicare for all and weed legalization

We won't know until they win.  They're not going to say anything they haven't already said until after November.  When your opponent is Trump and when most of the public perceives you as competent, all you have to do is sit back and wait for election day.

They are not moving that way for the general. They will moderate for that. There overarching shift has been left. They will accomplish one or two progressive goals during their administration. I think the big one is going to be guns. It has to be.

Biden is synonymous with "competence" in Mikesez World.

No doubt that Biden is not at the top of his game. That being said, he will hire competent people for his cabinet unlike Trump. Barr, Pompei, Devos and others have been disgraces. Harris will be criticized strongly by the right, but she will turn out to be the best pick. Even Trump praised her recently, but now that she was picked he has changed his tune.

I didn't say he was competent. See above. This is not my opinion.  Polls have been asking this question.

Lol

It's sad you people believe this tripe.

He will hire entrenched morons that have been failing to change the trend of corruption and degradation this country has been forced to live with for 30 years. So.. more of the same. And you'll think it's some kind of progress. Sad.

Trump literally sold the office of Secretary of Education to the highest bidder. Before Trump, the most important office you could buy was ambassador to a small European country that we have few disputes with. and while he didn't sell the office of attorney General, he did require an unprecedented amount of personal loyalty.

Trump has objectively created more corruption and degradation than there was before.

What is sad to me is how so many Trump supporters have stood by him as he disgraced our country. I wonder what you said about James "mad dog" Mattis when he was hired by Trump who called him the "real deal." Mattis tops the list of ex-Trump appointees (too many to name) who were shocked at his ineptness while in office. Mattis' statement on how Trump has divided this country is the best thing I've seen yet.

How many people has Trump hired and fired and called a moron when he fired them?  Here is what Trump said about these people when he fired them:

John Kelly: “in way over his head.”  “went out with a whimper.”
Michael Cohen: “not a very smart person.” “bad lawyer.” “fraudster.”
Steve Bannon: “sloppy Steve.” “cried when he got fired and begged for his job.”
Omarosa Newman:  “not smart.” “lowlife.”  “wacky.”
Jerome Powell: “clueless.”  “As usual, Powell let us down.”
Anthony Scaramucci: “highly unstable.”  “nut job.”
Jeff Sessions: “mentally [BLEEP].”  “a dumb Southerner.”  “Mr. Magoo.”
Rex Tillerson: “dumb as a rock.”  “lazy as hell.”
John Bolton: “incompetent.” “wacko.”
James Mattis: “the world’s most overrated general.”  “glad he is gone.”

That's just a partial list.  Trump hires more incompetent people, by his own admission, than any President in history.  You're a smart person.  Don't you eventually wonder, if all those people are incompetent, how competent is the person who hired them?

Trump also hires actual people in his other job. Has Joe Biden ever signed a paycheck and put food on someone's table? I'll wait....

A lot of people can competently run a business.  Very few can run a country.  It's a different skill set.

But why don't you take a shot at my question.   If all those people were incompetent, how competent is the person who hired them?   And if the person who did the hiring is the person who says all those people he hired are incompetent, what does that tell you?   He hires incompetent people.  He says so himself.

What really baffles me is that TrivialPursuit, the man with the 165 IQ, cannot see through Donald Trump.  I don't get it.

Since you mention lots of people can competently run a business, I find it odd that you criticize a business man for recognizing weak "employees" and moving on from them. That is a strength, not a weakness. Should he insult them after he fires them? Probably not, but that isn't a big enough character flaw to justify a guy like Joe Biden being president.

You say a lot of people can competently run a business, yet the guy you are praising has been in politics for 47 years suckling at the teet of the American tax payer. Why hasn't Joe Biden started a business? I guess because its too easy to take money from China? I don't know how you can wake up and look at yourself in the mirror and think "I am voting for that guy".
