Either way I’m glad to have football back win or lose!

its not that people don't think minshew is a really good qb. the problom us jags have one of the worst HC ever in the nfl. if he had a real HC his rookie year, not only would he broke all kinds of records, his team would've won the Super Bowl. Minshew has talent, skill, leadership, and everything you need to be a winner. lacking a real HC.

I would argue how are we better than last year? This team has less talent, period.
Completely agree. Asking a lot of rookies to come in straight at that level especially with the off season how it has been. A new O scheme, how well have they picked it up, do we have the players that fit that system? So many question marks.
The hope is that so many of our problems are self inflicted. If we can just play a clean, mistake free game then that could really help.
Saying that I think Minshew Magic gets us 3-4 wins next year. This roster looks weak beyond Minshew, Chark, Dede and Allen.
A lot of rookies? Henderson, yes. Chaisson is situational. Chenault is behind two vets. Is Barch starting? Yes, the RB is a rook. The team is young but we are running most of the same guys out there on offense with a better tight end until he gets hurt. The defense we had last year didn't win us many games, so are those losses that big a deal? Nah, we'll give up points but might actually be better against the run with better LB play. Too many people assuming different means worse. I still think 6 or 7 wins is do-able.

Great job!
But the O-Line matters was scary accurate.

The Jags go into the final 2 weeks of the season with a 2-12 record. They have a lock on the #1 pick, ahead of the New England Patriots who have a 3-11 record. We go into Chicago and are trailing 17-3, but Minshew leads a massive comeback and we win the game 27-17. This means we now are tied with the Patriots for the worst record in the NFL. Both of us lose in the final week of the season, giving us matching 3-13 records, but because of some weird tie breaker scenario, the Pats end up with the #1 overall pick. We offer them the moon in order to trade spots, but Bill Belichik (being the genius that he is,) rebuffs all our trade offers and selects QB Trevor Lawrence. All of his defensive stars that opted out this season, return in 2021 and the Patriots have another juggernaut for the next decade. Meanwhile, LT phenom Penei Sewell opts to stay in school and the Jaguars are forced to reach for a QB that ends up busting. Despite this, Khan extends the contracts of Caldwell, Marrone, Wash and Gruden.
Let's just hope there is a happy ending for us Jaguars fans.
