Today the battered and beleaguered Jacksonville Jaguars (1-all the rest) visit the Great White North and the 5-6 Minnesota Vikings . No fans will be in attendance and probably just as many Jags Fans will watch from home.

The Only Bright Spot of the 2020 season, running back James Robinson, will look to add to his yards from scrimmage totals as he nears the NFL record for undrafted free agent rookies. Last week he became the first UDFA rookie to record 1,100 YFS in the first 11 games of a career with a personal best 159 yards against the Browns. Look for more talk about Robinson making the Pro Bowl if he continues his record production rate in the next three games against the Vikes, tittians, and ratbirds.

Mike Glennon, as graceful as a giraffe in motion, will lumber to the starting gate again this week. Many thoughts and prayers are being sent up for his personal safety in hopes that he survives the day.

At 1-10 the only real questions that remain for this season are 1. Will the Jags get the 1st or 2nd pick in the coming draft? 2. Will the coaching staff follow the fired GM out the door? 3. Will the Game Day thread eclipse 10 pages again?

Game starts at 1:00pm.

Commentary, musings, memes, and snark to follow.
This will be a pleasing OFFICIAL game thread to follow.

Seems like every one of these I've started this year led to a blow out loss, so let's see if the trend continues.
Prediction

Jaguars 23
Vikings 21
I think we stay close for 3 quarters before the Vikings send in the varsity and pull away late. 35-21.
We’re gonna…you know.
Today is the day.

Vikes 26
Jags 27

Let the fun begin. And by that I mean the post-game threads...

At 1-10 the only real questions that remain for this season are 1. Will the Jags get the 1st or 2nd pick in the coming draft? The 2nd, because we can't even be the best at being the worst.  Our draft pick will be the 2nd QB taken, who will wash out in 3 years, while the 3rd QB taken will go on to a HOF career. 2. Will the coaching staff follow the fired GM out the door? Would you keep the HC from a 1-15 team? 3. Will the Game Day thread eclipse 10 pages again?  The apathy v. boredom struggle......... the over/under is 9.5  (No cheating with full-page images please.)

Jags get smoke checked 35-17
This is the first Sunday in a while that I have decided to watch the game and join you guys in the sorrow.
I do wonder how Mike will end up playing today. I have today off so I can follow this game and others more closely than I normally can. I saw that Gardner was actually active today as the backup. Truth be told, I wouldn't have been surprised if Doug and Company would have him made him inactive. Heck, I halfway expected that. I hope he gets to play again some time this year, but we'll see what happens with Mike and how he may continue to play.

So, uh, is anybody here...?
prediction
Glennon goes 18 for 21, 2 TD's, 0 int, Robinson adds a TD on 105 rushing yards, the defense holds the Vikings to 3 points in the first half. Two minutes into the second half Glennon get knocked out of the game on a strip sack. Minchew comes in and runs for one TD and throws for another. Jags win 35 - 21. if only....
few of us here ya know
This is gonna be fun lolol
Bold predictions: Glennon throws for less than 175 yards before garbage time inflates his stats. Robinson is over 100 scrimmage yards before the 4th quarter and we're loosing by 17+ before the 4th. Jefferson goes for 100+ yards.
Great pass right there
Jags get a huge break with Vikings losing their linebacker pregame.

Who are these commentators?
As bad as our record is this year, I agree with Vic Ketchman when he says this is not a pushover team.

Now the Jets, that's a baaad team.
