Sounds good, and is true. Now just to see if he can prove it.
Meh
He's saying the right things. We just need to see some positive results to back it up.

Cant we just agree that you have to be better than OK to make it in this league?

Cant we also agree that there are really only a limited amount of really good coaches?

And that it's kind of hard to find them?

I don't believe getting people on the internet, in message boards and comments sections specifically, to agree on much or be civil.

I've learned to accept that the internet is just where all of the world's worst people tend to gather. The few level headed people are then bombarded with nonsense, anger, hostility, and trolling.
Man, I thought I was the only one he sent that to.

Except he ran Ramsey and Ngoukue outta town. He had beef with Fournette dating back to the Jets game in 2017 when he was benched for curfew. He argued in the middle of the game with Ramsey.

He mishandled the QB position. He was a clown.
He’s a smooth talker, that’s for sure. Let’s hope he’s right.
WF is always entertaining...

Jaguars fire HC Doug Marrone: A+ Grade
Doug Marrone never should have had the job in the first place. He sabotaged the previous regime in order to obtain a position of power. He eventually lucked into some success in 2017, but we quickly learned that this was a fluke. Marrone should have been fired last year, but it's better late than never to can a horrendous coach.

Marrone's biggest problem is that like Bill O'Brien, he butted heads with too many players in the locker room. The players mostly despised Marrone and wouldn't fight for him. This actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the Jaguars' horrible effort late in the year allowed them to obtain the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

With Trevor Lawrence joining the team in April, the Jaguars need to move on with a much better head coach. There are many great candidates available, but almost anyone would be an upgrade over Marrone.

[BLEEP].....

I get tanking but going forward...yeah let the big boys who know- handle the roster..
What on earth is the roster control about. That seems a really really bad idea

It means that he simply needs to be aware of future transactions.  Example, the GM would have had to notify him prior to releasing Calais Campbell or signing Schofield and such.   In Corp America, we refer to this as being kept in the loop.
In short, he said............

..............we're rebuilding again!
There was some clarification in that he meant he had to ok player salaries, not that he was making personnel decisions. Makes sense since he fired Caldwell.

It is salary cap management. Nothing more. He is not making personnel decisions, he is approving transactions.

He said he started doing this as soon as Coughlin was fired after putting our cap in a bad spot.

All of this ^ applies to Tom Coughlin.

Marrone is a class act who did the best he could with a dysfunctional front office and a roster devoid of elite talent. I don't like his coaching record but he has my undying respect.

This is where we are today in America. Nothing is easy. People are constantly looking to stir the pot. Some people just like to create havoc. I for one, view this as a good day. The slate has been wiped clean, we have a franchise QB coming our way, as well as a ton of draft picks and free agent capital. The last pieces to fall are the GM and Coaches. There's no point in getting upset about them, until we actually get final word on who they will be. There is a lot of smokescreens out there, just like before the draft, so I don't trust any rumors that are swirling. Right now, I think the future is pretty bright.

He did but with a nod to the realization that the fanbase of the Jacksonville Jaguars are maturing. Not strictly in an age sense, but in football knowledge and expectation perception.
The fans are weary of patches and 2nd rate talent on the field and in the FO, and he knows it. Not to mention the other profit sharing owners who are tired of carrying his team.

It took a few years and many travails, but Khan is finally ready to put on his big boy NFL pants.

Let's hope so. He let things get way too outta control here for too long. Hopefully he learned from that.
