Yeah, you're right. They've been trying to do it all along. It is truly hard for me to reconcile my strong dislike for the man and the props I have to give him for his tenacity. I don't know if he's lasted this long because he's as much of a bully as those who go after him, or he sleeps in some hyperbaric chamber that revives him in a superhuman way.
It's a mystery.
I appreciate his willingness to hold the media and others accountable for their stupidity I just don't always like how he does it. I guess I have to remember sometimes you fight fire with fire.

Donald Trump bears zero responsibility for what happened @ the capitol. He didn't tell one person to scale a fence, throw a rock, break a window etc. Any person can only be held accountable for their own actions or for the specific directives that they give out. Holding a political rally isn't a crime, its not even immoral. Holding a political rally with incendiary rhetoric isn't a crime and its not immoral.
When Trump took office, he had hundreds of thousands of women in genitalia hats take the streets declaring that he was launching a war against women. Specifically women's body autonomy and Margaret Atwood directly links that to defacto rape. He was called a racist, Hitler, xenophobe, homophobe, etc. Then a few days later a Bernie Sanders supporter (who said the same things about trump) walks onto a baseball field and targets house republicans in a mass shooting. Where were the calls to expel Sanders from the senate? Was Ashley Judd removed from Twitter. Madonna Specifically said, "I have thought, an awful lot, about BLOWING UP THE WHITE HOUSE." Is she indefinitely banned from facebook? The pearl clutching left then put on plays depicting Donald Trumps death in central park. Is anyone banning those art companies? Maxine Waters specifically said that we should accost and harrass any member of Trump's cabinet. It has been posited that anyone who supports him looses their basic rights as human beings and can be subject to violence and confiscation of property. Is anyone talking about toning down THAT rhetoric?
If the republican party wasn't infected with a dehumanizing self loathing, they would be the ones making this argument not bending over to Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and the rest of them.
Why did this happen? Black lives matter burned down a significant portion of this country, over a billion dollars in damage, 40 deaths, etc. What happened? The leaders of the medical community tried to ALTER SCIENCE to say you can go to a BLM rally, but you can't go to church or to your local restaurant. Allies of the Vice President elect bailed RIOTERS out of jail! District attorneys accross the country let Violent felons out with no bail and no prospect of prosecution to go commit more violence. The legacy media stood in front of BURNING BUILDINGS and said NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Mayors across this country painted BLM ON THE STREETS including in the Capitol. This is after the President elect had this group at the white house during the previous administration. Where are the calls for him to be removed from office?
I asked the question, how did the left get the second investigation into Bret Kavanaugh? Two protesters accosted Jeff Flake in an elevator on the way to the senate floor and he changed his vote!
If, as a society, we bend over backwards to show that political violence works, guess what you're going to get more of?

See above about the subsidies for BLM, what happened after 9-11, what happened about Omar Mateen, San Bernadino etc. "We have to be very careful before we release the name of the suspects. we don't want a backlash. We don't want to bemoan an entire cross section of the population." When it's Trump Supporters "You dumb rednecks!" We spent years after 9-11 trying to figure out "Why do they hate us and can we find solutions to move forward." We ask for a signature audit and we're called conspiracy theorists and locked out of the process.

1) What Madonna wrote on Twitter was very bad, yes, but she didn't say it in front of thousands of people anywhere near Pennsylvania Ave. It's not a valid comparison.
2) Just because you're a black man doesn't mean that you alone get to decide if a protest about racism is legitimate. And bailing someone out of jail doesn't get that person out of trouble. They still have a court date, where they'll have to show a judge and jury that they were protesting and not rioting.
3) Stacey Abrams didn't concede, and that's unfortunate, but it didn't matter because she was the challenger. It's easier to keep a bad challenger out of the office than it is to get a bad incumbent out. Abrams had no ability to bend the police forces to extend her time in office. Do you see the difference? Other than that, yes, you should imitate the example she set after losing her election! Register more voters. Clarify your party's message. Find better candidates.

So she thought about it? Did she have a bomb? No. If anyone there had a bomb would they have felt her encouraging them to use it? No. The opposite.
Meanwhile, Trump literally told those people to do exactly what they did. He even lied and saying he would go there with them. That lie matters, it's further encouragement. Made them feel more legitimate in what they were about to do.
