Quote:Feel free to check my math above.

Your math today doesn't prove what you claim you saw last night, does it?

I'm totally not saying you're lying btw. I'm sure there were 15 stories on Fox about it. But you refuse to admit that CNN was doing the exact same thing, while making claims that Fox is doing nothing but fear mongering. Now it's 8 to 11 between the two sites. Do those three extra stories take it over the top and make it way more scary somehow?

Or can you just admit they were both reporting the exact same things in almost the exact same way?

As stated.. I typically don't go to either site as they fixate as a form of distraction. If we monitor this story the rest of the week I will make you a week long avatar bet FOX will always have the most links on their front page about this story, because they have a well chronicled history of keeping the focus on fearmongering.

So that's a no on admitting that they both do the same thing. Gotcha.

CNN and FOX both do similar things. One just significantly more than the other. As I pointed out, the more traditional news outlets (the ones with fewer references to Twitter responses and entertainment gossip) are not plastering their whole pages to this one story.

And I guess that's an admission FOX will without question keep more links to this story on their front page this week to keep the fear narrative omnipresent.
GOPTV fearmongering?

Say it ain't so.

14 vs 15 and 8 vs 11 is significantly more to you?

And from CNN at the same time period.

Wanna tell me who has more stories now?

Pull these sites up in your phone and grab those screen shots. You may be surprised. FOX is still up 8-7. You should have taken the bet. Getting closer.

So are they both fear mongering or just reporting on a current event?
Accurately reporting on three terror attacks = fearmongering? Really? Lol
it's only fear mongering if they dont agree with it.

"Trump will use nukes" however is not fear mongering. lol

Numbers alone don't tell the tale.

Here are the FOX headlines:

- Route of a Radical: Accused bomber shifted focus after trips to Jihadist hot beds

- Bomb Suspect gets $5.2M bail

- Exclusive: Bomb Suspect is deadbeat dad who hates America

- VIDEO: NYPD not actively seeking anyone else

- Sources: Bomb Suspect had prior contact with authorities

- Previous Claims - Bomb Suspect's family sued NJ city alleging religious discrimination

- Bastille Day attack - New arrests made in truck attack (sprinkled in for good measure)

- VIDEOS: Bombing Suspect shot/captured in NJ

.......

Here are the CNN headlines:

- Bombing suspect wrote about al-Qaeda

- What we know about Rahami

- Bar owner spotted Rahami

- Rahami's father - I had no idea

- The amazingly quick capture

- Bergen: an ordinary terrorist

- (in the same section) Trump defends racial profiling

.....

It's noteworthy, the very next post under these on the FOX site references a CNN bias (BIAS ALERT) on the racial profiling story. Since we need news people to filter the words that escape his mouth.

So.. do you see a difference at all in the content? Of course you don't.
you guys are wasting your time analyzing main stream news. my advice is to ignore all of it. its corporate owned. government run.

I agree. Unfortunately it's mainstream because a lot of people utilize it which is the point.
Good Lawd, you all are arguing whether or not Fox or CNN has particular political leanings and bias. C'mom Man. Thread fail. For reasons of No [BLEEP] Sherlock.

So they should not be reporting on the terrorist bombing/attacks? When the sites plaster Trump in a negative light article after article, I don't see left leaning posters upset or claims of fear mongering.

My issue is when a network lies about being bi-partisan. MSNBC acknowledges their left-leaning slant. Fox news acknowledges its right-leaning slant (despite their "fair and balance" moniker). CNN pretends it is a bastion of neutrality, which is a blatant LIE. CNN has gone further left than MSNBC at this point, yet they still pretend to be neutral. CNN's ratings are in the toilet as a result, and deservedly so.

Sweet 6lb 7oz baby Jesus!!

Pick an argument already!! You are all over the place here. You've gone from "Fox is trying to scare you into submission", to "yeah, they're both reporting on the news but I bet Fox does it longer" and now you're at "well...they're both still doing it, but look how much more mean and scary the headlines on Fox are!!"

Just flipping man up already and admit that they are doing the exact same thing.

Looks like a recipe card for "Mom's Old-Fashioned Manufactured Outrage". Good ol' mom.

The only reason these are brought up is because Fox reported them. Had Fox just kept it to themselves no one would have known and there wouldn't be an issue. Thanks Fox for creating an issue!
