Everything about him. I’m so so happy he’s our QB.
Fan-freaking-tastic!
It's going to be great having the national media pissed for the next 15+ years at the jaguars being good.

Though part of me realizes that increased national exposure will help the Jaguars, part of me doesn't want them to benefit in any way from Jaguars' success.  Screw the national sports media.
I'm excited, Trevor will change this franchise forever. Of course Urban will have to do his part but I'm confident he will
He did everything short of crying and pouting like a 6 year old..

Yes...and I loved it, especially since he trashed us with the Jerry Lewis comp.  Lots of Jets fans in the national sports media are carrying on like this.

Like this guy...

Exactly right.

Suck it, Rich Eisen.

Lol I like Rich. It is fun to watch most of the other media squirm and dig for anything negative they can grasp onto to throw shade at us. At least rich isn’t trying to throw [BLEEP] at Trevor, he is more just saying that what the jets did was stupid and he is right.  Im not sure why more people aren’t just calling it what it is, a huge win for us and a huge mistake for them. That is it.

Based on what I've seen, lots of Jets fans were pissed for winning those games and felt it was a mistake to lose out on Trevor Lawrence.

Right now, I feel like the kid that got the coolest toy/newest video game system for Christmas, while all my buddies got were socks.

I don't blame them one little bit. Watching that video, I get the impression Eisen believes Jacksonville is somehow unworthy of the pick when Lawrence could have been in New York.

What worries me most is taking a treasure like TL and putting him under the tutelage of a coach who has zero NFL experience. I'm a little worried, but Meyer has enough experience on staff to act as his bowling lane bumpers until he gets the hang of it. Especially the part where both coach and QB aren't accustomed to losing. I wonder how that will affect their psyche.

Wouldn’t it be great if they didn’t have to?

I only hope fans have the patience to endure the development phase which may last more than one season.
Somewhere out there, the Zac Wilson fan is crying

I don't get THAT impression from him.  I get the impression he'd prefer the Jets had him and is dismayed the Jets blew it.  The only antipathy towards Jacksonville I got from him in that clip was the whole Jerry Lewis comp.

As for coaching TL, I feel better knowing Darrell Bevell is the OC.  Brett Favre spoke very highly of him, and that bad play call at the end of that Super Bowl notwithstanding, he did a good job with Russell Wilson.  I just don't know what UM's offense will entail and whether the offense will regularly put players in the best position to succeed.  That said, I would have preferred Pederson as head coach specifically because he won a Super Bowl and could be trusted to develop TL.

Exactly. I've actually heard Jags fans say he'll be a disappointment, if he can't at least reach Justin Herbert's numbers from last season. That's crazy! I just wanna see solid improvement from year one to year two and so on.
Imagine getting a QB with zero red flags, with a fantastic support system, the number 1 recruit out of high school and collage and is going to be the 1st draft pick. Someone who petitioned for college players to play during a global pandemic. Someone who is so mature and at peace with himself that he understands the significance of football in his life while still wanting to be the greatest. Someone everyone follows. Someone who is a generational talent and that will only improve.

That’s right Jags fans, we don’t need to imagine, we just have to wait a little while longer.

He is THE guy. He is OUR guy.... for the next 15+ years. So suck it up NFL
