I don't care how unpopular the head coach is. I'm rooting for the team to win. The situation will sort itself out regardless.

Anytime I start feeling like I want them to lose, whether for the pick or in this case to fire Gus, I end up reading the discussions on NFL.com and get upset with the other teams fans and say screw it. Kick their [BLEEP]!

If by some miracle Gus gets this team to the playoffs, he deserves to keep his job. If we miss the playoffs, he should and I believe will be fired. The more wins we have, the more attractive the job is to potential head coach candidates. There is no reason to root for a loss if you are really a Jaguars fan.

Winning and taking your game to the next level is a psychological hump to overcome. Not trying to do everything you can to win will not get you over that hump.

I have never rooted against the Jaguars in any game, but I do believe that in rare cases a loss can be good for the immediate future of the franchise. These 2 things do not have to be mutually exclusive.
